Ever feel like your brain is wrapped in cotton wool? 🧠💭
That’s not just in your head—it could be PCOS.

Brain fog is a REAL (and frustrating) symptom that many women with PCOS face—trouble focusing, forgetfulness, and feeling mentally drained.

Hormonal imbalances, insulin resistance, inflammation, and poor sleep all play a role.

The good news? With the right nutrition, blood sugar balance, and nervous system support, you can lift the fog.

Here are some of my favourite sweet treat options! 🍦🍫

If you have PCOS/PMOS and you’re working towards weight loss, you don’t have to cut out sweet treats completely. The key is being mindful about when and how you enjoy them.

Having something sweet after a balanced meal, rather than on its own, can help reduce blood sugar spikes and support more stable energy levels. This is especially important for many women with PCOS/PMOS who experience insulin resistance.

And when it comes to treats like ice cream, choosing the mini size instead of a regular can make a big difference while still satisfying the craving.

Remember, sustainable weight loss with PCOS/ PMOS isn’t about restriction, it’s about making small, balanced choices that support your hormones while still enjoying the foods you love.

I could share more of these sweet options if you need more ideas. Let me know 👇🏼 if you would like me to work on this.

Most people don’t know this…
The “cysts” in PCOS aren’t real cysts — and they’re NOT permanent.
They’re actually just immature follicles that come and go depending on your hormones.
When we work on insulin, inflammation, stress + ovulation… the ovaries change.

✔️ They’re not true cysts

In PCOS, the “cysts” are actually arrested follicles — immature eggs that didn’t fully grow and ovulate. They look like a string of pearls on ultrasound, which is why people think they are cysts.

✔️ They can come and go

Because they’re just follicles:

They can shrink

They can disappear

New ones can form based on the cycle

Their appearance changes when hormones improve

✔️ The follicles reduce when hormones regulate

When insulin, LH/FSH ratio, inflammation, and androgens improve, ovulation becomes more regular — and the ovaries no longer collect these immature follicles.

Fermentable fibers stimulate the natural release of GLP-1, a hormone that suppresses appetite and promotes satiety.

Just note that natural GLP-1 lasts only a few minutes before enzymes break it down, whereas prescription medications are engineered to persist in the body for days. This doesn’t mean you do not reap the benefits of these foods which help with also with inflammation and improve your gut health.

Here are Top Fiber Sources to Boost GLP-1 Naturally

High serum triglycerides (TGL) are strongly correlated with non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and are considered a “strongest predictor” of its presence.

Here are a few changes to start making.

This is a supportive tool, not a standalone treatment.
PCOS management still requires:
✔ Insulin-focused nutrition
✔ Adequate protein and Fibre
✔ Strength training + NEAT
✔ Stress regulation
✔ Sleep optimization

But adding restorative nervous system work can amplify results 💛

How to Use It :

• Stay in the posture for 5–15 minutes
• can be done when overwhelmed or just before bed
• Pair with slow diaphragmatic breathing
• Avoid during menstruation
