In-home physiotherapy isn’t just about massage or passive treatment. Research consistently shows that targeted exercise is one of the most effective ways to improve strength, balance, mobility, confidence with walking, fall prevention, independence with daily activities.

Manual therapy is an important part of evidence-based Physiotherapy.

In physiotherapy, techniques like cervical traction are used to:
- Reduce pain and muscle guarding
- Improve joint mobility
- Decrease nerve-related symptoms (i.e. radiating arm pain)

But here is the key: manual therapy is not a standalone solution.

The evidence supports using it alongside:
1. Targeted exercise
2. Movement retraining
3. Education
