Doctors are now using the circumference of your quads to help predict how long you’ll live.

My latest Unstoppable at Any Age guest, Tiffany Scobie, is a former competitive runner turned barre instructor who’s spent years teaching women how to build strength that actually holds up: functional, sustainable, and centered on the muscles that keep us steady, mobile, and independent as we age.

We talked about the shift from chasing exhaustion in her twenties to building strength she can sustain now. Fueling every four hours instead of skipping meals. Capping her own class schedule instead of teaching through burnout. Giving herself, and her students, permission to modify without apologizing for it.

One thing she said that stuck with me: “It’s not less than to stay flat and skip the weights. This is where I need to be today.” - Tiffany Scobie

Strength isn’t proven by how depleted you feel afterward. It’s proven by whether you can still carry your groceries, play with your grandkids, and get off the floor without thinking about it, twenty years from now.

I love this approach to building healthy habits.

Instead of trying to overhaul your entire life on Monday, start with a few things you can repeat long enough to notice a difference.

Maybe your energy improves.
Your digestion changes.
You're sleeping better.
Your joints feel better.
You feel stronger.

Joey calls these little changes "glimmers."

And once you start noticing them, taking care of yourself stops feeling like another thing you're supposed to do.

You want to keep going because you actually feel the difference.

Small things, done consistently, can add up to a very different experience of aging.

That's the actual reason exists. Not another program. Not another 75-day challenge. Just women in the same stage of life, moving and showing up for each other.

If you’re confused about how to eat after 40, you’re definitely not alone.
Nutrition advice has become incredibly noisy.

Fast longer. Don’t fast.
Eat carbs. Cut carbs.
Snack. Never snack.
Eat less. Eat more protein.

For my latest episode of Unstoppable at Any Age, I sat down with Dr. Joey Shulman, who has spent decades working in nutrition and weight loss.
And instead of giving us another complicated set of rules, Joey brought us back to the basics.

Blood sugar balance. Gut health. Protein. Hydration. Movement. Nervous system regulation. Consistency.

Your body absolutely changes after 40.
But that doesn’t mean your metabolism is broken or that you need to survive on less and exercise more.
It means we need to learn how to support the body we have now.

A few years ago I started paying attention to a pattern in the research that changed how I think about aging.

Movement, real, consistent movement, outperforms almost everything else we reach for. Not supplements. Not procedures. Not the newest medication. Movement.

One of the clearest predictors of whether a woman stays independent into her 70s and 80s isn't her weight or her diet. It's her muscle mass, especially in her thighs. It's her VO2 max. It's whether she kept moving through her 40s and 50s, when it's easiest to quietly stop.

That's the whole reason exists. It's free, it's not a funnel to anything, and it's full of women who are done treating movement like an afterthought.

If you want to be around women who are lifting, running, walking, and lifting each other up while they do it, this is it.

How much would change if you stopped treating your body like something you needed to conquer?

Especially in midlife, when your body may not look, feel, or respond the way it did at 30.

You can support your health without hating your body into changing.
You can want to feel stronger without making your appearance the measure of your success.
Your body isn't the opponent.
You're on the same team. 💜

Yo-yoing with your weight, your effort, your exercise — abrupt and unsustainable changes cost you more than a slow, clear plan ever will.
Clarity gives you the patience to actually stick with something long enough to see results. That's what most women are missing — not more discipline, more direction.

I've had women tell me their executive health check felt thorough — until we actually sat down and went through what it covered.

Blood work. A doctor's consult. A fitness test. All useful. None of it explains why your body's stopped responding the way it used to.

Next Level Health goes further — personal genetics, continuous glucose monitoring, VO2 max testing, a DEXA scan, all integrated into one plan built around you. Not five separate reports you're left to interpret alone.
