Whether it’s yogurt, berries and chocolate chips; or cereal with milk; or rice cakes with almond butter; or a protein bar and tea, it doesn’t matter. What matters is you plan the portion and stick to it!

Which would you choose?
All three are good options but it’s important to be mindful of the calorie content when trying to lose weight. If you choose skinny pop or kernels be mindful of your serving size. Try and make your other snacks that day low calorie and nutritious. Our pick is The Good Diet Salt popcorn because it tastes delicious, counts as a category 2 food and is loaded with protein so you’re not reaching for another snack 20 minutes later.

Still need to make lunch for tomorrow? Try this, it comes together quickly and is great as a phase 2 lunch or phase 1 dinner. Bake protein in your favourite spices until crispy. Pictured here is tofu, but chicken or shrimp are other great options. While the protein is cooking sauté kale and mushrooms in 1/2 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice and garlic. Rinse 1/2 a package of shiritaki or Konjac noodles and place in bowl. One veggies and protein are done cooking add to the noodles. Serve with a side of fresh lemon!

Snack 1: 3/4 cup plain low fat Greek yogurt + 1/2 banana +1/2 cup blueberries
Lunch: Greek salad + TGD Soup (not pictured)
