This Pride Month, we honor the strength, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals in our communities and health care workforce.

As nurses, we believe that quality health care is a human right. Every person deserves to feel safe and respected when seeking care, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, culture, or background.

For Internationally Educated Nurses, diversity is at the heart of what we do. Our unique experiences help us advocate for inclusive and equitable health care for all.

CARE Centre was proud to take part once again in Toronto Newcomer Day!

We were thrilled to connect with hundreds of newcomers who stopped by our booth throughout the day. Visitors picked up CARE Centre hand fans to stay cool in the hot sun, learned about the programs we offer, and shared their stories and experiences with us.

It was also wonderful to see so many people celebrating together and enjoying the newly installed soccer fields, which added to the energy and excitement of the day.
