The Assembly provides opportunities for developing talent in monthly showcases. We mentor new players. Viva la revolution!

We facilitate a coalition of the most dedicated longform teams in the city, and coordinate workshops featuring Toronto’s favourite longform instructors The Assembly started in the basement of a Shoppers Drug Mart. favourite longform instructors. We’re not governed by a board of directors, or a distant imperialist overlord. The Assembly is an artist-run company dedicated to making good improv and great improvisers. The Assembly’s goal is to provide opportunities for new players and coaches, build and support new longform teams, and to showcase Toronto’s unique take on game-based longform improvisation.

Jonathan Bosco is a Torontonian improviser and Actor, who has been performing and producing in the city for over a decade! Known to take a more physical approach to his improv and performances, his focus for REPS will be Dynamic Scenes! In this fast-paced 90 minute workshop, you’ll move away from talking heads and towards incorporating object work and physicality into your performance, while also exploring your environment, moving around on the stage and using that space!!
