This is why sleep can feel so off in perimenopause…

As estrogen and progesterone shift, melatonin production and timing can get disrupted too. That’s part of why you might feel wired at night, wake up at 3am, or just not get that deep, restorative sleep anymore.

The good news is your body still knows how to make melatonin.

Light exposure in the morning and evening helps regulate your circadian rhythm, which directly signals when melatonin should rise and fall. And hypnosis has been shown to calm the nervous system, reduce nighttime cortisol, and improve sleep quality by working with the unconscious patterns that keep you alert.

It’s not just about forcing sleep. It’s about creating the conditions where sleep can happen again.

Midlife hormone shifts can be debilitating.
Impacting your mood, your sleep, your energy, your brain, maybe even your sanity.
I’m not going to promise that breathwork and nervous system regulation is a magic pill that can bypass all of your symptoms but it can be an incredible ally in supporting your mood, your energy and even your digestion and hormones.
