September is Arthritis Awareness Month

Arthritis affects millions of Canadians and can have a significant impact on mobility, independence and quality of life.

At Toronto Grace Health Centre, we recognize the importance of compassionate, person-centred care that supports individuals living with arthritis and other chronic conditions. Through rehabilitation, therapy, education and ongoing support, our teams of Physiotherapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Rehabilitation and Rheumatology help patients work toward greater mobility, independence and confidence in their daily lives.

This month, we encourage everyone to learn more about arthritis, recognize its impact, and support those living with the condition.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness and promote better understanding, care and support for those living with arthritis.

Serving up some Staff Wellness fun at Toronto Grace!

Our team enjoyed a little friendly competition with a ping pong wellness activity at the Irwin Rooftop Garden!

Taking time during the workday to move, laugh, connect, and recharge is an important part of supporting staff wellness. A little ping pong was the perfect way to bring some energy and fun to the day!

Patient's Story - Paul and Elizabeth
When a loved one is living with a serious illness, caregivers need support too.

Toronto Grace Health Centre's Palliative Care Respite Program provides short-term care for patients, giving family caregivers time to rest, recover, or attend to their own health while knowing their loved one is in compassionate hands.

Paul and Elizabeth's story highlights the impact of this support. While Paul received personalized rehabilitation and palliative care, Elizabeth was able to focus on her own recovery, knowing he was safe and well cared for.

At Toronto Grace, we're committed to supporting both patients and the people who care for them—because compassionate care extends to the whole family.
