Our journey in search for gentle, natural and effective bath and beauty products began in the year 2002. With the birth of our son, who was “allergic” to any and all commercial soaps and lotions; we as new parents were at loss in effectively managing his unending bouts of eczema and skin rashes. Tired from applying awful smelling, harsh cortisone creams on our babys’ gentle skin, we decided to re
sort to home made remedies. We started making our own concoctions with ingredients we found in our kitchen. We used yogurt and honey mix as an exfoliator for bathing and almond oil as a moisturizer. Although there were less bath bubbles to enjoy, we had a healthy and happy baby! Over the years we witnessed more and more people become aware of the toxins we consume daily both internally and externally and adopting to natural and organic ways of healing and cleansing their bodies. This change in mindshift and lifestyle was a perfect segue for making our vision of helping people find effective natural and organic beauty products come true and in 2012 we opened virtual doors to our online store called Holistically Organics.
