What to put in your protein smoothie - 5 essentials

1. Protein - at minimum 20g!
Can be a protein or collagen powder. Whole food options can include Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and tofu. 

2. Fruits 
Berries would be the top pick for all their polyphenol content! 

3. Vegetables 
Great easy options include spinach, leafy greens and cauliflower.

4. Healthy fats 
Whole nuts and seeds (ex. walnuts, flax, h**p), nut and seed butters,  avocado

5. Liquid base of choice 
Milk, almond milk, etc. Tip: use soy milk for extra protein or coconut milk for a boost of fats!
