Meditation found David before he even went looking for it.

During his studies in Chinese Medicine, a Shiatsu teacher quietly introduced him to the practice — 10 minutes of stillness before each class. What started as a routine became a lifelong anchor.

for World IVF Day - today: At 1:04pm, I cracked open my daughter’s door.

Light streamed in through the blinds. She was curled in a ball, fast asleep—still in last night’s hoodie. Teenagers.

I almost laughed… and then, I got hit.

This wave of memory.
The ultrasounds.
The clinic lights.
The smell of hospital-grade antiseptic.
The sound of my own breath when they told me my fallopian tubes were blocked and full of fluid—that there was no way the egg and s***m could ever meet.

There was no “trying” anymore. Only science.
And surrender.

Six years of hope and heartbreak.
And still… acupuncture needles kept me grounded.
Doctors kept me going.
Eastern and Western medicine—together—helped me stay open long enough to receive what I didn’t think was possible.

And now, here she is.
Asleep at 1pm.
A miracle in a hoodie.

Today is World IVF Day.
And if you’re still in the waiting… I see you.
I want this for you too—not just the baby, but the peace that comes from knowing you gave your dream a real chance.
