For people living with asthma, access to your health information can mean more connected, timely care. 💙

Yet less than half (47%) of Canadians access their health data online.

The Connected Care for Canadians Act (Bill S-5) aims to make it easier for patients and healthcare providers to securely access and share health information across Canada.

📣 Add your voice and ask your MP to support connected care: https://bit.ly/4oBs1y1

Are you living with asthma or caring for someone who is?

Asthma Canada is preparing a patient submission to Canada's Drug Agency (CDA) regarding Breztri Aerosphere, a potential treatment option for people whose asthma is not well controlled with current medications.

We're looking for your input on living with asthma and your treatment experiences. Your feedback will help inform the patient perspective in the review process.

Take our 10–12 minute survey:

Wildfire smoke is affecting air quality across much of Canada this week. If you or a loved one lives with asthma, please take care.

Smoke can trigger asthma symptoms and increase the risk of an attack, even if you're normally well-controlled. Stay indoors when you can, keep your reliever inhaler with you, follow your Asthma Action Plan, and check in on family and neighbours who may be more vulnerable.

We've put together 6 tips for staying safe this wildfire season: https://asthma.ca/get-help/asthma-triggers/wildfires

You can also speak with a Certified Respiratory Educator at no cost by calling our HelpLine at 1-866-787-4050 or emailing [email protected]. It's a free service, and it's there for exactly moments like this.
