You keep your promises to other people.
You show up.
You meet the deadline.
You make the call.
You help when you said you would.
But what about the promises you make to yourself?
The walk you planned.
The boundary you wanted to hold.
The time you meant to protect.
When our own commitments are always the easiest ones to negotiate away, it can slowly affect how much we trust ourselves.
In this week’s blog, I explore:
• How small acts of follow-through build self-trust
• Why realistic commitments matter more than impressive ones
• What to do when you don’t follow through
• How to recommit, adjust, or consciously release
Your needs matter. Your intentions matter. Your word to yourself matters.
