Before Skin by Noor, before the serum, and long before I ever imagined building a skincare company, there was Dr. Rashad Tawashi, PhD but known to his family as Giddo. 🤍

My grandfather has spent years fascinated by date palm pollen and asking a simple question: what is it about this tiny, overlooked part of the date palm that makes it so interesting?

That curiosity eventually became research. And years later, that research became the foundation for something none of us could have predicted.

In this video, Giddo tells the story in his own words, starting with what first drew him to date palm pollen in the first place.
