My daily supplement list, and why I make these four part of my daily routine.
Even the cleanest diet has gaps, so a high quality multivitamin is your foundation. Think of it as daily insurance, filling in what food misses on any given day.
Vitamin D is non-negotiable, especially here in Canada where sunscreen and long winters mean most of us simply are not getting enough from the sun alone. It supports bone health, immunity, and is linked to the prevention of a range of chronic diseases.
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in your body, from blood sugar regulation to muscle function, and it is one of the most common deficiencies in midlife women. It also helps you wind down and sleep, which is reason enough on its own.
Omega 3s support brain health, help regulate inflammation, and play a role in blood sugar stability. Most of us are not eating enough fatty fish to meet our needs, so this one fills a real gap.
All well researched, well tolerated, and worth adding to your routine.
