Green light. Amber light. Red light.

Which regenerative treatments are permitted for routine use, which require special approval, and which can't be offered outside a research setting. Prof. Ali Mobasheri (Past President, OARSI) breaks it down live on September 3rd.

OA isn't a single condition. It's a set of distinct phenotypes, and that changes which treatments actually work for whom. Ali's session covers stem cells, exosomes, PRP and HA - assessed on the evidence, not the marketing.

Built for practicing MSK physicians who want clarity on what's proven, what's permitted, and what's still marketing sizzle.

Few people have done more to change how we think about osteoarthritis than Prof. Ali Mobasheri.

450+ publications. h-index of 82. Visiting positions across three continents.

He served as President of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) from 2019 to 2022 and serves as a senior advisor to the WHO Collaborating Center for Epidemiology of Musculoskeletal Conditions and Ageing. His research on OA phenotypes and the idea that "osteoarthritis" is really several distinct diseases wearing the same name, underpins much of the current debate about which treatments actually work, and for whom.

On September 3rd, he's bringing that work directly to our network — live, with time for your questions.

Leukocytes in for tendon. Out for the joint. You set the volume and the concentration case by case — and you get the same PRP whether it's you or your MA running the spin.

That's what precision actually means in a treatment room: not a bigger number but a more controlled one.

Osteoarthritis is not a one-size-fits-all condition—so why are we still treating it like one?

Join us on Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT for an evidence-led deep dive: Regenerative Orthobiologics for Osteoarthritis — Separating Science from Marketing Hype.

We are honored to be led by Prof. Ali Mobasheri—past President of OARSI, chair of the ESCEO osteoarthritis group, researcher at the University of Oulu, and author of over 450 publications. His pioneering work on OA phenotypes completely shifts how we evaluate targeted treatments.

What we'll cover:

🧬 Why OA phenotype changes everything for treatment efficacy
🧬 What the clinical evidence actually shows for stem cells, exosomes, PRP, and HA
🧬 Navigating the "traffic light syste": what’s permitted, restricted, and prohibited
🧬 Where current scientific evidence and regulatory frameworks diverge
🧬 Live Audience Q&A

Cut through the noise and look strictly at the data.

🔗 Secure your spot and submit your questions for Prof. Mobasheri when you register: b0cdba84-53e0-4050-a4b5-2e86ba38bbee@8afda015-5228-49bc-8ca0-c6b737b0fa8f?mc_cid=27f07bc6e2" rel="ugc" target="_blank">https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/b0cdba84-53e0-4050-a4b5-2e86ba38bbee@8afda015-5228-49bc-8ca0-c6b737b0fa8f?mc_cid=27f07bc6e2

The diabetic patient. The one whose already had three. The one still playing and isn't going to accept being told to stop.

Synolis VA gives you a route for the patients you'd rather not put on steroids - relief they feel by the first follow up and most need fewer pills to get through the week once they're on it.

No cortisone. No waiting to see if it takes.

What's in your syringe isn't a guess.

5x concentration minimum. 10 billion platelets for knee OA. That's the threshold — not a target, not a "roughly." If your kit doesn't hit it, you're injecting plasma with good intentions.

Your active patients don't want a lecture on viscosupplementation. They want to know one thing: when can I move like myself again?

That's the answer Synolis VA is built to give.

Relief they feel by the first follow-up — not weeks of wondering if it's working. HA that adapts to how they actually move, cushioning the slow steps and gliding through the fast ones. And a safety profile that makes it the one you reach for first, even when cortisone isn't an option.

Whether the story is speed, safety, or getting back to real movement — it's the same promise, said differently: they get their knee back.

HA that adapts to your movement.

Cushions the slow steps. Glides through the fast ones. Your patients stop describing it as less pain and start describing it as walking normally again.

That's the shift Synolis VA is built for — not just quieting the joint, but giving it back the range it needs to move like it used to.

PRP or placebo?

There's a bar to clear: 10 billion platelets for knee OA, and a 5x minimum concentration before it counts as PRP at all. Plenty of systems on the market don't get there.

Ask what your current kit actually delivers. If nobody can give you a number, that's your answer.
