We invite you into this season with some hands-on, collaborative learning about unfiltered Japanese sake led by Koji Advisor Kanayo Satoh!

Workshop Description
In this workshop, we will cover the following topics:
* What is Doburoku?: An introduction to doburoku and its key ingredients.
* The brewing process of sake: Learn how fermentation creates alcohol.
* History of Doburoku: Discover the unique history of Japanese sake.
* Let’s Make Doburoku!: A hands-on session where participants will make their own unfiltered sake! (Yields approximately one 720ml bottle)
* Tasting: Try the ready-to-drink doburoku, which Kanayo. koji.labo made.
* Exploring Flavoured Doburoku Variations: Get inspired by different ideas of flavours for future brewing.
* How to Use Sake Lees: Explore creative ways to use the byproduct from Doburoku Making

This workshop includes sake lees–inspired snacks and small bites, along with a special take-home gift, and an opportunity to connect with fellow participants. It also includes a pressing bag for straining after fermentation. Wishing you a wonderful time and experience!

We have always done our best to make it easy and comfortable for everyone to continue their regular care with us. However, the costs of products, supplies, insurance, staffing, and overall operations have risen considerably, making it increasingly challenging to maintain the same level of quality at the current prices.

After carefully reviewing our finances, we have made the difficult decision to adjust the prices of our services.
 Effective April 1st, 2026, our updated prices will be reflected on our website on the same day. This change will allow us to maintain the quality of our services and products while also creating opportunities to introduce new offerings that bring even more comfort, support, and benefit to your health and skincare needs.

Welcome, Shoma!

He will be offering Shiatsu, Stretch therapy at Nagomi.

He worked as a physiotherapist in Sapporo, Japan for over five years, specializing in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He has supported clients of all ages recovering from fractures, ligament injuries, sports-related conditions and post-surgical care.

Having been an athlete himself—playing baseball through high school, he also supports young athletes by incorporating guidance on injury-prevention, efficient body mechanics, and sustainable recovery strategies.  
His father runs osteopathy and shiatsu clinics, and growing up watching him care for patients with such attentiveness had a profound impact on him—naturally led him to pursue a career in this field.

His focus is not only the relaxation but also understanding each client’s background, what their body truly needs, and what kinds of self-care or exercises can support them long-term.

Combining physiotherapy, shiatsu, and stretching, he aims to work closely with his clients to find sustainable solutions together.

Valentine Mochi making Workshop

Feb 13th （Fri)
6:00-8:00 (Evening Class)
Feb 14th (Sat)
10:30 - 12:30 (Morning Class)
Fee: $70 plus HST

Join us for a special Valentine’s Day workshop where we’ll be making four kinds of daifuku together!
The session will begin with an introduction to the ingredients, followed by step-by-step demonstrations on how to prepare the mochi dough, make the fillings, and wrap the mochi beautifully. We’ll then move on to hands-on mochi making. This time, we’ll also be creating mochi with chocolate as well!

After finishing, you’ll get to enjoy one freshly made mochi on the spot, and take home the remaining three.
Our instructor, Kumi, is known for her careful selection of high-quality, natural ingredients. She makes her mochi using minimally processed sugars and natural colorings whenever possible.

This workshop is perfect for friends, couples, and parents with children aged 11 and up.

As we welcomed the New Year, we were finally able to gather for our annual staff appreciation party. I am truly grateful to have such a wonderful therapist on our team. Although this greeting comes a little late, we would like to take this moment to extend our heartfelt New Year’s wishes.

Last year, we were blessed with many clients, including countless referrals.
 The trust, gratitude, warm words, and smiles we receive from our clients continue to inspire and support us every day.

We will keep working to enhance the quality of our services and to create a space where clients feel they want to return. We also hope to contribute more to our community in meaningful ways.

Join us for a cozy, hands-on workshop where you’ll make four adorable mochi treats, perfect for the Halloween and autumn season!

Date: October 26th (Sun)
Time: 11:00-12:30, 1:30-3:00
Location:

During the class, you’ll learn about the ingredients, how to prepare the mochi dough and filling, and some helpful wrapping techniques.

After making your mochi, you’ll get to enjoy one on the spot and take the remaining three home.

Our instructor, Kumi, is passionate about using natural, high-quality ingredients — even the sugar and coloring are chosen with care to keep things as wholesome as possible.

This workshop is open to everyone — friends, couples all welcome!
