Hello summer ☀️

A new season is a reminder that care can shift with us too. Longer days, more time outdoors, travel, movement, and changing routines can all ask something different of the body and mind.

Summer care can look like staying hydrated, creating moments to slow down, supporting recovery, protecting your energy, and making time for yourself alongside everything else.

As you move into the season ahead, consider this your reminder that taking care of yourself is not just for busy seasons. It belongs in the joyful ones too.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, father figures, caregivers, and mentors who show up with strength, support, and care.

Today is a reminder to celebrate the people who often spend so much of their time taking care of everyone else. Whether that looks like advice, encouragement, quiet support, or simply being there when it matters most, those moments leave a lasting impact.

And for anyone still searching for a thoughtful last-minute gift, a Calm gift card is a meaningful way to offer a little time to rest, reset, and recharge.

Today we recognize and celebrate the cultures, histories, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and communities across Canada.

It is also an opportunity to reflect, listen, and continue learning. Building stronger communities begins with understanding, respect, and making space for different voices, experiences, and perspectives.

We acknowledge and honour the importance of honouring Indigenous communities and the knowledge, resilience, and traditions that continue to shape and strengthen our collective future.

One of the key ideas behind Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is that we don't need to eliminate every uncomfortable thought or feeling in order to live a meaningful life. Instead, we can learn to respond to those experiences with greater flexibility, self-compassion, and resilience.

At The Calm, Sarah Lo, RP offers trauma-informed psychotherapy that creates space for clients to feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.

If you've been carrying more than you need to on your own, support is available. Visit the link in bio to learn more about our counselling services.

Did you know that PMOS is about more than irregular cycles? It is a complex metabolic and hormonal condition that can affect everything from energy and mood to skin, weight, and overall well-being.

While many treatment plans focus on managing symptoms, naturopathic medicine looks deeper, exploring factors like insulin resistance, inflammation, stress, and hormone balance to better understand what may be driving your symptoms. Every person's experience with PMOS is different, which is why a personalized approach can make all the difference.

Curious about the root causes of PMOS and how naturopathic care can help support long-term health? Visit our latest blog post to learn more.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At The Calm, we believe care begins with creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and welcomed exactly as they are. Health and wellness are not one-size-fits-all, and every person deserves access to care that feels supportive, respectful, and affirming.

We celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and recognize the importance of creating environments where authenticity can exist without judgment.

We are grateful for the diversity, stories, and experiences that strengthen our community, not only this month, but every day.

Everyone deserves a space to feel supported. Everyone deserves care.

May at The Calm 🤍

A month of meaningful connection and growth.

We hosted the Space & Stillness experinece with SAOR studio, combining gentle movement with ear seeding to support nervous system regulation, deepen relaxation, and help the body settle more fully into rest.

We continued building The Calm Corner, expanding how and where we support recovery and performance.

And we were excited to welcome Sarah Lo, RP to the team as we grow our mental health offerings.

Grateful for the month behind us and everything still unfolding.
