At The Calm, we believe care begins with creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and welcomed exactly as they are. Health and wellness are not one-size-fits-all, and every person deserves access to care that feels supportive, respectful, and affirming.

May at The Calm 🤍

A month of meaningful connection and growth.

We hosted the Space & Stillness experinece with SAOR studio, combining gentle movement with ear seeding to support nervous system regulation, deepen relaxation, and help the body settle more fully into rest.

We continued building The Calm Corner, expanding how and where we support recovery and performance.

And we were excited to welcome Sarah Lo, RP to the team as we grow our mental health offerings.

Meet Denise! 👋 Denise offers a gentle, therapeutic approach that blends relaxation with focused care, always tailoring each treatment to the individual in front of her.

She has additional training in Pre and Postnatal Massage Care as well as Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage Certification Levels 1 & 2, and brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to working with clients through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and lymphatic care. Her treatments are designed to help the body feel more supported, balanced, and at ease through each stage of care.

Her work is rooted in creating space for rest and recovery, helping clients step out of tension and into a deeper sense of ease in both body and mind.

We’re excited to welcome Sarah Lo to The Calm!

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist who takes a grounded, whole-person approach to mental health care, with a strong focus on the connection between mind and body. Her background spans psychotherapy, brain injury rehabilitation, and fitness, giving her a broad and deeply informed perspective when supporting people through trauma, complex mental health experiences, and high-pressure life circumstances.

Sarah works in a collaborative, down-to-earth way, helping clients navigate emotional and relational challenges while rebuilding a sense of connection to themselves, both mentally and physically. Her approach is trauma-informed, steady, and centred on creating a space where real, sustainable change can happen.

We’re very happy to have her on the team. 🙌
