This week on the podcast, I’ve got a story that is 1.5 years in the making.

On November 24th, 2025, at the Holly Jolly Fun Run in Toronto, I ran 5 kilometres (or for my American friends, 3.1 miles) in under 20 minutes.. 19:55 to be exact.

It was a goal I set for myself over a year and a half before I reached it, and truthfully, the process did not go exactly as expected!

And because I learned so much through the journey, I wanted to share a full recap of the training, nutrition, recovery, and mindset lessons gained along the way!

This episode is an honest look at what it took to chase that goal.
Not the filtered version you often see on social media…

But the real, messy, rewarding process of trying to achieve something genuinely hard.

Is AI a safe and reliable tool for your IBS and gut health❓

Based on what I’ve been hearing, many people are using it to give them health advice, information, and create meal plans to identify food intolerances…

But here’s the thing, while AI can be a helpful tool, it can’t replace real patient-centred care from a regulated clinician, won’t question the information/ advice it provides, and most concerning of all, it often hallucinates.
