Big news for PSC drug development!! Elafibranor is moving forward into a Phase 3 clinical trial for PSC in study named ELASCOPE.

Recruitment information hasn’t been released yet, but the past Phase 2 Elafibranor study included Canadian research sites. We’re keeping a close eye on updates and will share details about participation as soon as they are announced.

Possibly eligible:
- Adults aged 18-75 with large duct PSC with compensated liver disease at screening
- Stable background therapy, where applicable prior to study entry

Possibly not eligible:
- History or presence of other chronic liver disease
- History of hepatic decompensation, including:
- - History of liver transplantation, current MELD 3.0 score β‰₯12 due to hepatic impairment, or
- - Evidence of complications of cirrhosis
