Back to business July 2021. We are one month in and we are bustling. I apologize to anyone who has had a difficult time getting an appointment! It’s hard to believe we will be celebrating 2 years since we opened this November but have only actually operated for 10 months. I think it’s important to acknowledge our amazing clientele, all of the locals in Willowdale along with the entire GTA and beyond who are regular patrons of our salon. You are the reason we have survived thus far and the reason we will continue to grow and prosper moving forward. I am truly grateful for that and for the opportunity to be a small business owner in such a great community, city, and country. If we look at the state of the world at large, l believe that’s it’s easy to say that in spite of our struggles we who reside in Canada by birth or otherwise, have it pretty good. I remind myself of this often and having had this discussion many times over the last month with hundreds of clients/friends I think it’s safe to say that it’s generally accepted as the truth. Our perspective holds immense power over our experiences, views, and opinions. From my perspective, I have many reasons to feel fortunate, grateful, and humbled. So, thank you everyone for being part of what makes those feelings possible.
