I’m a sleep consultant, but apparently I’m also a therapist, change management specialist, interior designer, schedule coordinator, detective, negotiator, and professional overthinker. 😂

Because being a mom and running a business means wearing approximately 47 different hats before lunch.

One minute I’m helping a family figure out why their baby is waking every 45 minutes. The next, I’m breaking up an argument over who got the bigger piece of toast, answering emails, figuring out what’s for dinner, and trying to remember why I walked into a room.

And somehow, we’re expected to do it all while making it look effortless.

The truth? Juggling a lot doesn’t mean you’re doing it all perfectly. It means you’re constantly adapting, problem-solving, and figuring out what needs your attention most.

So here’s your reminder that you don’t have to do it all, all the time. You can ask for help. You can let some things wait. And you can be really good at what you do without being everything to everyone.

Now, if anyone needs me, I’ll be over here adding three more things to my to-do list. 🫠

What’s the most unexpected hat YOU wear as a mom? 👇

Looking back at this photo brings up so many feelings. Not because anything terrible happened that day, but because I remember how I felt during that season of motherhood. Let me explain. 👉🏽

This was such a great way to connect with other people and get out do the house. I felt productive by working out twice a week!

I might have been a bit jealous 🫣

I was happy and sort of having fun but not really if I was to be honest with myself.

It was whispered to me from another friend. Like a secret!

In Canada we receive a child tax credit and that’s where our budget came from! I wish our insurance covered it.

He slept 12 hrs the FIRST night. I cried I was so proud.

He started walking the next month! That’s when I realized how much sleep affects us!

Getting sleep should not be a whispered share or feel bougie.

You don’t have to pretend you’re fine when you’re exhausted, and you don’t have to figure everything out alone.

If your baby’s sleep is affecting your family’s quality of life and you’re ready to explore your options, you can book a discovery call through the link in my bio.

I’m here to help you figure out what makes sense for your family.

Your baby is not a bad sleeper. ❤️

And you’re not a bad mom because your baby doesn’t sleep through the night.

Maybe you’ve tried the earlier bedtime.
The later bedtime.
The longer wake windows.
The shorter naps.
And every tip someone on the internet swears will magically fix your nights.

But what if your baby isn’t broken?
What if you’re not doing anything wrong?
What if you just haven’t found the right approach for YOUR baby and your family yet?

Sleep is a skill babies can learn, and with the right support, things can change.

More restful nights are possible. Bedtime doesn’t have to be a battle. And you don’t have to spend every day wondering what you’re doing wrong.

You deserve to feel confident in your baby’s sleep, not constantly second-guessing yourself.

And yes, you can sleep through the night again.

Save this for the nights when you need the reminder. 🤍

If you’re ready for a more restful night and want help figuring out what’s getting in the way, book a discovery call through the link in my bio.

🍂 Daylight savings ends November 1… and that extra hour of sleep? It might not feel like a bonus when you have kids. 😂

On Sunday, November 1, we’ll “fall back” one hour. And while some little ones adjust without much fuss, others may suddenly be waking up at 5 AM or struggling with bedtime.

The good news? You have options! 🙌

✨ You can gradually shift your child’s schedule leading up to the time change, or adjust to the new time once it happens. The best approach depends on your child’s current sleep schedule and how they typically handle changes.

A few things to remember:
🤎 Keep your morning wake-up time consistent.
🤎 Get plenty of natural light in the morning.
🤎 Stick to your bedtime routine.
🤎 Give your little one a few days to adjust.

And please, don’t panic if things feel a little off at first. One hour can make a difference to little sleep schedules, but it doesn’t mean you’re headed for weeks of disrupted sleep!

📌 Save this post so you’re ready for November 1, and share it with a parent who could use a little help navigating the time change.

POV: You’ve spent 45 minutes getting your baby to sleep… and now you’re afraid to move. 😂

We’ve all been there. Each and every one of my clients has faced this exact moment. The rocking, the bouncing, the slow transfer into the crib… and then holding your breath, hoping they stay asleep. 🫣

But here’s something worth understanding: if your baby is repeatedly drifting in and out of sleep while being rocked, they may get some sleep without completing the transition to the deeper sleep you’re hoping for.

And if they wake during the transfer? You’re potentially starting the whole process again.

No judgment here. We all do what we need to do to get through bedtime, especially when we’re exhausted.

But sometimes, the thing that feels easiest in the moment can end up taking the most time and energy.

Independent sleep is one approach that can help make bedtime more manageable for the whole family. And there are supportive ways to work toward it that don’t involve leaving your baby to cry it out.

Because bedtime shouldn’t have to feel like a nightly marathon. 🤍
