Yes, I'm a Man Working in the Menopause Space. Here's the Honest Reason Why.

People sometimes ask me directly:

"Why is a man working in the menopause space?"

It's a fair and honest question and I want to answer it properly.

I came into this work from 20+ years in chronic pain, mobility, and
medical exercise rehab.

Over and over, I kept seeing the same pattern with women in midlife:

They were dealing with symptoms that were affecting their movement, their confidence, their sleep, and their daily quality of life.

And they were being told to "just push through" or handed
fragmented, conflicting advice with no real support system
behind it.

That stayed with me.

Because in health and rehab, I already knew the truth:

People do better when support is clear, connected, and practical and not scattered and overwhelming.

I chose to train specifically as a Licensed Menopause Champion
because I believed I could contribute something genuinely useful:

A movement-informed, rehab-aware, practical support approach for women whose menopause experience deserves to be taken seriously.

I don't have lived experience of menopause.

But I listen carefully.
I learn constantly.
I approach this work with humility and deep respect.

And I work every day to help women feel less overwhelmed and more supported in a space where that kind of care is still genuinely rare.

If that approach resonates -

I Was Skeptical About Menopause Supplements. Here's the One I Changed My Mind About

I want to be honest about something.

There are hundreds of menopause supplements on the market right now.

Most of them make very big promises.
Most of them have very little evidence behind the specific ingredients they're built around.

When I was looking for a product I could genuinely recommend as
part of a menopause support approach for the women I work with
I was skeptical.

I needed it to meet a few specific standards:

✅ Clinically studied ingredients not just "herbal" marketing
✅ Addresses multiple symptoms, not just one
✅ Clean, plant-based formula
✅ Designed to fit INTO a broader support plan not replace one

After careful research, that's what led me to Arbonne's HerCore Essentials Meno Support.

It's built around EstroG-100 a clinically studied botanical blend
with published randomized trial data supporting improvements in symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, mood, and more.

I use and recommend it as one part of a support system, not as the
whole answer.

Because menopause is not a one-fix problem.

But for many women, having a clinically informed natural-first
option as part of a structured support approach makes a real
difference.

If you'd like to know whether it might be a fit for your situation,
DM me or comment MENO below.

I'll have an honest conversation with you about what you're
experiencing and whether this makes sense as a starting point.

She Said 'My Body Changed the Rules Overnight - Nobody Sent Me the Memo.' This Is for Her

A woman I spoke with recently described it perfectly.

She said:

"I feel like my body changed the rules overnight and nobody
sent me the memo."

That one sentence captures something I hear from women in perimenopause and menopause over and over again.

Not gradual.
Not warned about properly.
Not supported the way it deserved.

Just different. Suddenly.

And then comes the overwhelming pile of conflicting advice, products, opinions, and information.

When what she actually needed was one calm, honest conversation about what was happening and what might genuinely help.

That's what I try to provide.

Not 17 supplements.
Not a complicated program.
Not pressure to have everything figured out by Tuesday.

Just a respectful, informed starting point from someone who specializes in exactly this.

If you've been feeling that way, like your body changed the rules
and you're still catching up - you are not alone.

And you don't have to figure this out by yourself.

Comment MAP below and I'll tell you about the free 15-minute
Menopause Symptom Map call I'm offering this month.

It's a short, no-pressure conversation to help you identify your pattern and find one clear next step.

You're Exercising. You're Trying Hard. So Why Does Your Body Feel
Worse, Not Better?

"Just exercise more."

If I had a dollar for every time a woman in perimenopause or menopause told me that's what she was advised ...

I'd have retired by now.

Here's the truth that most generic advice misses:

For many women during menopause, "just exercise more" with the
wrong approach can actually make things harder not easier.

More high-intensity training can raise cortisol, which disrupts sleep
and increases hot flash frequency.

More impact and pressure on the pelvic floor can worsen leakage
and pelvic discomfort.

More inflammation from overtraining can increase joint pain, fatigue, and recovery time.

This is not an argument against movement.

Movement is one of the most powerful menopause support tools available.

But it has to be the RIGHT kind of movement for WHERE YOU ARE right now - not just "more."

That's the difference between punishing your body and supporting it.

Your body hasn't failed you.
Your movement plan just needs to catch up to where your body actually is.

If you've been frustrated by exercise advice that doesn't account for what's really happening during menopause -

Comment MOVE below and I'll send you my free "Bad Days of Menopause" movement guide.

It's designed for movement that works with your changing body - not against it.

Try This 10-Minute Wind-Down Tonight. Women Are Sleeping Better By Morning.

10 minutes tonight that could genuinely change how you sleep this week.

This is the breathing and wind-down approach I share with women navigating menopause sleep disruption.

It takes 10 minutes.
No equipment.
No supplements required to start.

Here it is:

STEP 1 - Cool your environment (2 min.

Open a window slightly, turn on a fan, or remove a layer before bed. Your body needs to drop in temperature to enter deep sleep this is even more important during menopause.

STEP 2 - Calm Core breathing (5 min)

Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 counts. Out through your mouth for 6 counts. Repeat this 10 times. This activates your parasympathetic nervous system - your body's natural "rest and restore" signal.

STEP 3 - One quiet thought (3 min)

Before you close your eyes, write down or mentally name ONE thing that felt okay today. Not perfect. Just okay.

This simple step quiets the mental chatter that keeps many women with menopause awake long after the hot flash has passed.

That's it.

Try it tonight and comment below with how you feel tomorrow morning.

And if you want the full 7-Day Night Reset guide - designed specifically for menopause sleep support - comment RESET and I'll send it to you.

Waking Up at 3am Drenched in Sweat Is Not Aging. Here's What It Actually Is.

If you've been waking up at 3am drenched in sweat, exhausted but
unable to get back to sleep ...

That's not weakness. That's not aging badly. That's your body going through a real hormonal shift that nobody prepared you for properly.

Night sweats and sleep disruption affect the majority of women during perimenopause and menopause.

And here's what makes it worse:

When you don't sleep well, everything else gets harder.

Your mood.
Your patience.
Your energy.
Your ability to handle the day.

It cascades.

The good news is that sleep disruption during menopause is one of the most responsive symptoms when you approach it with the right support.

Not a miracle pill.
Not a 12-step protocol.
Just the right first step for your specific situation.

If sleep is your biggest challenge right now, comment RESET and I'll
send you my free 7-Day Night Reset guide.

It's practical, it's free, and it's designed specifically for this.

After 20 Years in Rehab, I Finally Understood Why Women in Menopause Feel So Stuck

Something I've noticed after 20+ years in health, movement, and rehab:

The women who struggle most in menopause are rarely struggling because they're not trying hard enough.

They're struggling because they've been handed a confusing, fragmented approach - and told to figure it out alone.

Hot flashes treated here.

Sleep advice somewhere else.

Supplements from one source.

Exercise advice from another.

Hormones debated everywhere.

No wonder it feels overwhelming.

Here's what I've come to believe after working specifically in the menopause space as a Licensed Menopause Champion:

Menopause is not a one-fix problem. It is a support-system problem.

And when you start approaching it that way things get simpler, clearer, and a lot less overwhelming.

I'm Francois Gagnon - Licensed Menopause Champion and Certified Medical Exercise Specialist with 20+ years in chronic pain, mobility, and medical exercise rehab.

Menopause support is now my focus and it's where I've chosen to direct everything I've learned about how the body
adapts under stress.

If "menopause support without the overwhelm" sounds like what you need right now ...

Comment MENO below and I'll send you the best free starting point based on your top symptom.

No pitch. Just a practical next step.
