Have you ever felt called toward something that others didn’t understand? A path that felt right in your soul, even when you couldn’t explain why or where it would lead?

That was my experience with Reiki.

When I first started my Reiki journey, many people had no idea what Reiki was. I couldn’t always explain what I felt, but deep down, I knew I was being drawn toward something meaningful.

I trusted that feeling, kept learning and allowed the journey to unfold.

Looking back, I’m grateful I listened to that inner knowing.

Sometimes, your soul recognizes your path before you have the words to explain it. You don’t need everyone else to understand. You just need to give yourself permission to follow what feels true to you.

Today is my grandma’s birthday. Our matriarch. My spiritual guide through this crazy life. The person I still wish I could tell all the little things to.

There are moments when something happens and your first instinct is to share it with someone who is no longer here.

A funny story, something ordinary, a thought you know would make them laugh. Then reality catches up, and you’re reminded all over again that life looks different without them in it.

The world keeps moving, even when a part of you wishes it would pause for just a moment. You learn to carry the loss alongside the love but that doesn’t mean you stop missing them.

Today, I’m thinking about all the things I would tell her if I could. All the conversations we haven’t had, the laughter I still want to share, and the wisdom I still find myself reaching for (although she shows up to every one of my readings).

Happy heavenly birthday, Grandma. I hope you know how much you are loved, how deeply you are missed and how much of you lives on in me 🤍

When we lose someone we love, we start looking for them everywhere.

In the songs that come on at just the right moment. In a familiar scent, a vivid dream or a butterfly that seems to linger a little longer than usual.

Grief is painful. It changes us. There are days when missing someone feels heavier than words can explain.

But sometimes, loss also opens our eyes to things we might not have noticed before. We become more aware, more intuitive and more open to the possibility that love continues in ways we don’t fully understand.

Maybe we aren’t searching for them everywhere because we’ve lost them completely. Maybe we’re learning to recognize the ways their love still finds us.

And maybe that’s where a little of the magic lives 💜
