Did you have any of those symptoms above?
Think it might be time to be making a change?

If you even THINK you do, then you might want to keep reading!

Specifically, if you do, you likely have at least one of the following going on in your brain:

Neuro Inflammation:
Cells in your brain called "microglia", which sort of function as your brain’s immune system, are activated too frequently and may become stuck in the ‘on’ position. Consequently, they produce inflammatory compounds and oxidative damage.

Leaky Blood-Brain Barrier:
A shockingly common issue where the protective wall between your brain and bloodstream breaks down. When it becomes leaky, things get into the brain that shouldn’t be there.

Mitochondrial Dysfunction / Shut Down: Mitochondria are your cellular energy generators AND danger sensors. But, mitochondria cannot be in both energy mode and cell defense mode. When your mitochondria are weak, they are constantly trying to ‘sense danger’ (think high cortisol) and can’t produce energy.

DO YOU HAVE MANY OR ALL OF THESE SYMPTOMS?

BRAIN RELATED FATIGUE?
Feeling exhausted, fatigued, or sleepy after doing something mentally challenging.
CHRONIC LOW ENERGY?
Waking up feeling spaced, unrested, tired or groggy throughout the day, relying on caffeine or other stimulants to keep you alert.
BRAIN FOG?
A type of cognitive dysfunction. This can include memory problems, lack of concentration, and lack of clarity. Indecision.
ANXIETY OR DEPRESSION?

********...This man walked into my office today…********

…and says, “I came to see my dog.” You see he had been busy elsewhere in the building after meeting my little dog, Ruby, who sleeps at my feet. Every time someone steps into the office, Ruby jumps to attention and goes straight to the “new meat” as I call it.
She LOVES attention, and even though I am allowed to have her here in the office (rather than staying at home all day by herself), I still have work to do, so I cannot be having her on my lap or getting scratches ALL DAY as she would like!

He and Ruby had bonded earlier. He scratches, she falls in love, he scratches more, she leans in, he falls in love…cheap date! Alas, she had her attention fulfilled at that moment by a fairly large biscujit…she didn’t need him at the time. He was crestfallen! She was no longer his dog!

He ended up going into a story about how he, as one of a large construction crew for years, had brought his new puppy to the jobsite because it could not be home alone all day. He told us of all these big, burly tough men who spent as little time in the office as they had to FOR YEARS. That focused hard work attitude melted when they came into that “puppified” space! He told us of these sweet, soft, gentle hearted men that became squishy and love struck at the sight of this adorable baby dog.
It really made me think about how much we all yearn to open our hearts and be soft and squishy if we will allow ourselves the space – especially when it is not expected.

So, just for a moment, close your eyes and imagine a basketful of
puppies or kittens, and let your heart and mind wander for a minute in stroking baby animals, feel their soft and gentle tiny bodies covered in new fur, warm and squiggly and full of cuddly affection, open your heart up and feel the
warmth of unconditional love from them or your pet at home and the excitement of coming home to an adoring pet
or better yet, a welcoming child….

Just open up your heart and let that soak in for a moment.

Then, if you have to – go back to work refreshed and rejuvenated!

Here is a quote from my book, the "FOOD MOOD CONNECTION".
"The human gut microbiome begins at the "birth inoculation" and consists of a community of TRILLIONS one-celled organisms."

Last week I gave copies of my book last week to my COACH. The immediate comment I got was, "I was so shocked that my son was born by C-section, and I was not told, and I have no idea what that meant for him and his life."

Well, considering he is now 15 years old -
WE DID NOT KNOW THEN WHAT WE KNOW NOW!!!

Now when women give birth by C-Section, they can be advised what the long-term consequences can be from being born this way.

In normal birth canal delivery, babies receive this "INOCULATION" from the vaginal passage, trilions of bacteria that give the infant the healthiest start with a dose of the mother's microbiome. This ensures highest dose of immunity and protection from environmental risks for the baby.

Science now knows that children born by C-section without vaginal 'swab' have higher rates of dysbiosis (unhealthy probiotic profile), immunity, mental health issues (ADHD, anxiety, depression) and adult obesity. Research is in its infancy, but probiotic therapies and now looking into what can be done to address this inoculation later in life.
