TCM views the body with a whole-body approach. When treating migraines, we are also working with other systems in the body because they are continuously connected.
Some of the main channels associated with migraines, and the gut-brain connection, are the Gallbladder and Liver channels. In this study, acupuncture points, Gallbladder 8 and Gallbladder 34 were used.
If you are struggling with migraines, acupuncture and TCM can be a supportive treatment option to help alleviate your pain!
