Some people arrive at therapy able to name every one of their patterns and still can't move. Others aren't sure where to start, only that something isn't working.

Allison Lee, MACP, RCC, works with both. She joins our downtown Vancouver team this month.

Allison supports clients through anxiety, stress, relationships that keep hitting the same wall, life transitions, and the questions about identity, culture and belonging that are hard to say out loud. Many of the people she works with are BIPOC, Asian, or from immigrant families, sorting out what it means to hold cultural identity and family expectations alongside their own sense of self.

She works from a trauma-informed lens, drawing on CBT, EFT, attachment-based and culturally sensitive therapy, and shapes each session around what is actually useful to the person in front of her.

In her words: "You don't have to show up perfectly or know what to say. We can start wherever you are."

Allison is accepting new clients in person at our downtown Vancouver location. Book a free 15-minute consult through the link.

Welcoming Emma Scheifley, RP (Q), to the WBC team at our Cambridge office.

If you have been thinking about therapy but were not sure where to start, Emma is a gentle place to begin. She sees her role as walking alongside you, not leading the way, offering tools, curiosity, and compassion as you work out what healing looks like for you.

Her approach is warm, authentic, client-centred, and trauma-informed. She draws on Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and adapts to what fits you best. As Emma puts it, therapy is not always neat. It can be messy, confusing, and sometimes even a little funny, and you are the expert on your own life.

Emma supports clients working through anxiety, burnout, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, people-pleasing, self-compassion, family and relationship conflicts, and s*x and intimacy. She is an affirming therapist for 2LGBTQIA+ folks and community. You are welcome here, exactly as you are.

You can see Emma in person at our Cambridge office on Water Street North, or online from anywhere in Ontario. At WBC, we use Right-Fit Matching to pair you with a therapist who fits your goals, personality, cultural background, and language, not just the next available name on the list.

If something feels ready to mend, a free 15-minute consultation is a low-pressure way to start.

Welcome to the team, Omar Nsouli.
Omar is a warm, collaborative therapist now seeing clients in Ottawa, in person and online. He works with people navigating anxiety and panic, ADHD, stress, self-esteem, grief and loss, depression, and life transitions, and he brings real depth to men's issues and the cultural, immigrant, and newcomer experience.

His approach draws on CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, always centred on what you actually need. Sessions are available in English and Arabic.

Finding the right therapist should not feel like guesswork. Our Right-Fit Matching process pairs you with the therapist who fits your needs, personality, and language, not just the next open slot. Book a free 15-minute consultation to see if Omar is the right fit.

Meet Timothy Lamont, CCC, MACP.

Now accepting clients in Kelowna, Timothy specializes in anxiety, depression, and decision paralysis, helping individuals and couples move from feeling stuck to taking confident, value-aligned action in their careers, relationships, and everyday life.
