Some people arrive at therapy able to name every one of their patterns and still can't move. Others aren't sure where to start, only that something isn't working.
Allison Lee, MACP, RCC, works with both. She joins our downtown Vancouver team this month.
Allison supports clients through anxiety, stress, relationships that keep hitting the same wall, life transitions, and the questions about identity, culture and belonging that are hard to say out loud. Many of the people she works with are BIPOC, Asian, or from immigrant families, sorting out what it means to hold cultural identity and family expectations alongside their own sense of self.
She works from a trauma-informed lens, drawing on CBT, EFT, attachment-based and culturally sensitive therapy, and shapes each session around what is actually useful to the person in front of her.
In her words: "You don't have to show up perfectly or know what to say. We can start wherever you are."
Allison is accepting new clients in person at our downtown Vancouver location. Book a free 15-minute consult through the link.
