❤️
Today I was invited to play therapeutic harp music at a wedding. I am grateful for the trust the couple and their families placed in me.
The chapel was warm and full of grace. The harp, unamplified, blended gently into the space — just as it should.
After the guests had gathered, the day brought a small surprise: the ceremony ran a bit late. Anticipation and quiet anxiety rippled through the room. And that is where the music found its purpose — settling everyone, softly, into stillness.
The parents of the couple came to express their appreciation. The music had held the room while everyone waited.
As I was leaving, I said goodbye to a volunteer I had first met two years ago at a hospuce services centre. We agreed that a wedding day is exactly this — a moment stretched between nervousness and joy. He said the music today felt like a gentle cradle, holding everyone together, drawing them close.
That is the gift of therapeutic harp music. A reminder, along the journey of life, that in these moments that matter most, something stirs — a deep awakening of the love and connection we hold for one another.
