Spring 2026 Hair Trends
As the seasons shift, many of you start thinking about a fresh look. Nothing drastic. Just something that feels new.
So, we asked Urs to share the spring 2026 hair trends that are dominating socials and the glossy media right now.
“These are the runway-inspired trends some of you are actually asking questions about and booking in for,” explains Urs. “They’re on-trend, wearable and easy to adapt to real life.”
Here’s what’s standing out for spring.
The ‘Modern Bob’
One shape that keeps coming up for spring 2026 is the modern bob.
This isn’t the sharp, severe bob many of you worry about. Rather a softer, more grown-up feel than past versions.
This season’s bobs tend to sit between the jaw and collarbone, with gentle movement through the ends and a little softness around the face. Urs says this is why clients are finding it far more wearable. “It feels strong and stylish, but not boxy or stiff. You can wear it sleek, loosely waved or let it dry naturally, and it still looks intentional.”
“Some clients are choosing it as a confident chop, while others see it as a halfway point between long and shorter hair. Either way, the focus is on a shape that grows out well and doesn’t rely on heavy styling.”
Colour melting
Bold colour isn’t disappearing, but spring is bringing a more refined approach. Clients are leaning towards multi-dimensional tones that look glossy and blended. The kind of colour they’re spotting on celebrities and saving for inspiration.
Rather than obvious highlights or strong contrasts, there’s a rise in rich brunettes, soft coppers and warm blondes that melt seamlessly through the hair.
“The goal is hair that looks healthy and intentional,” explains Urs. “It should look stunning in natural light and still feel fresh weeks later.”
It’s an ideal option for some of you who want their colour to last well between appointments without losing impact.
Wearable fringes
Fringes are still having a moment, but spring 2026’s version is softer and far more adaptable.
Side fringes, wispy fringes and longer face-framing pieces are replacing anything too heavy or high commitment. Everybody loves that they can wear them styled or swept away, depending on the day.
“A fringe shouldn’t feel like a trap,” says Urs. “We’re cutting them so they blend easily and don’t take over your whole look. It’s a popular way to refresh your style without changing your overall length.”
Healthy shine takes centre stage
Spring 2026 is very much about condition-first hair that’s glossy, smooth and healthy.
Often, it’s the small upgrades that make the biggest difference. A treatment add-on or switching to a more suitable at-home product can completely change how hair looks and feels.
“Healthy hair makes everything look and feel better,” says Urs. “Even the best colour won’t shine if the hair’s dry or stressed.”
Effortless styling that still looks polished
Clients are busier than ever, and spring trends are reflecting that. Cuts and colours are being designed with everyday styling in mind.
Air-dried texture, soft curls and styles that don’t rely on heat every day are all part of the picture.
There’s no point recommending something that only looks good after 40 minutes with a hot tool. Urs adds. “Spring hair should work with your routine, not against it.”
