We often measure our progress by what we have built.
Faster systems.
Smarter technology.
More convenience in every part of our lives.
And in many ways, this is true—we *have* progressed.
Life has become more efficient.
Tasks that once took hours now take seconds.
We have access to knowledge, communication, and tools that previous generations could never have imagined.
But there is something we rarely stop to ask:
Has this progress changed *how we relate to each other*?
Because while everything around us has accelerated…
Our sense of connection does not seem to have followed at the same pace.
We are more connected than ever—
Yet, at times, we feel more distant.
We can reach anyone in the world instantly,
But meaningful understanding between us still feels… limited.
So we continue building, improving, advancing.
But if progress does not bring us closer to one another…
What exactly are we moving toward?
