Choosing your injector absolutely should not be. 😂

Before you let someone treat your face, look at their work. Look at whether their results align with the aesthetic you actually like. Ask about their approach. Have the consultation.

And most importantly, make sure you feel comfortable hearing both “yes” AND “I wouldn’t recommend that for you.”

The celebrity filler reversal era
is telling us something.

We’ve watched the aesthetic pendulum swing pretty dramatically.

For years, celebrity beauty was associated with more volume, bigger transformations and very obvious enhancement.

Now the conversation is increasingly about dissolving old filler, reducing volume and getting back to more individual-looking features. Several celebrities have publicly discussed regretting previous filler or having it dissolved.

My takeaway isn’t “filler is out.”

It’s that filler should have a purpose.

Strategic filler can still be beautiful. But knowing when you’ve reached the result is just as important as knowing where to start.

That’s one reason I don’t believe filler appointments should automatically mean adding more filler.

Sometimes we add.

Sometimes we wait.

Sometimes we discuss dissolving.

And sometimes I tell you that I genuinely think you look great exactly where you are.

A good treatment plan needs an endpoint.

If you’re unsure whether it’s time for more, come in for an assessment before deciding.
