A message from our Executive Director:
Dear friends,
From the bottom of our family’s hearts, thank you to everyone who attended our documentary presentation on May 22nd.
I am truly humbled to have been able to share this deeply personal part of our family story, a story that became the beginning of something much bigger than we could have imagined. At our first annual gala in 2007, Fr. Kelly said, “Everyone present here tonight is part of something big.” As we prepare to celebrate our 20th Anniversary Night to Shine Gala this February, those words feel more meaningful than ever.
It was such a joy to see families and friends from SEC, along with members of our community, come together for this private viewing. Your presence reminded us of how many people were part of the support our family received during our journey with Sara Elizabeth and after her passing.
Many of you planted seeds in our lives long ago, through words of comfort, babysitting our younger children, bringing meals, offering prayers, and encouraging us as we healed and followed the leadings of the Holy Spirit. Today, we are blessed to see the fruits of those seeds through the Sara Elizabeth Centre and our beautiful Circle of Friends.
We are also so proud of Joseph for the beautiful way he captured the spirit of this story through his documentary film “Amazing Grace”. He is presently planning to enter it into film festivals, so we may have to wait before holding another private viewing, hopefully before winter and in support of our 20th Anniversary Gala.
Thank you for being part of our family’s journey, part of Sara Elizabeth’s legacy, and part of our Circle of Friends.
