Our client has very light skin that’s been sheltered by a hat for the past 25+ years. He was pretty nervous about people noticing that he suddenly had a hairline, which is super common

This client never made it for his check-in/touch-up session after our treatments last year, but finally made it back in! He looks GREAT 🤩

We did a little hairline adjustment and slight touch up of a couple areas that needed more blending (another post for another day). He’s stoked about his new look and I’m happy that he is happy!

Finally got to check in with this beauty last week. We began our journey together last November and completed our 4 long ass sessions back in January. It was so great to catch up and touch-up the SMP work. The real shocker was how much hair growth has taken place in areas that were almost completely bare…which required a little more blending than anticipated!

More photos to come. When we first met, I asked if I could re-do her brows to better compliment her stunning eyes…and she was gracious enough to let me at them last week. They will make an appearance soon 🤘🏼

I’ve been fortunate in reconnecting with clients in various stages of healed SMP, lately, who have been kind enough to share their results. I know it’s important, to those considering scalp micropigmentation, to see the work over time. I’ll do my best to document more and more, as time marches on.

I had the honour of working with this beauty from Atlanta, GA 🇺🇸, while she was a short term resident here in Victoria 🇨🇦

Being part of a transformative journey, as an SMP artist, is always a gift…but being part of even bigger journeys of transformation really fills my cup. My client is brilliant and kind, and I am so lucky she chose to work with me 🥰

We went with softer lines in our hairline design, for a more feminine look, and I think she looks stunning.

My SMP client from 2 years ago came in for a “Guybrow” enhancement today, and was gracious enough to let me snap a couple photos of his healed SMP. We both agree he’s not due for a touch-up yet. It looks great just the way it is…soft and subtle.

We will check in again next year (or maybe sooner…but just for beers). He had been loving his look and not a single person has figured out it’s not his hair. 😎

I did a check-in/touch-up session, 2 months after the 3rd session (no photo). As you can see in the 3rd session photo, I had initially gone lighter in density and shade. My client requested a bit more intensity, which I accommodated happily (though 80% of the time, it’s a horrible idea and I will say “no” out of love for my client and their best interests long term).

Healed result showcases the maximum density for this client, with a soft, slightly receded, natural hairline.

Enjoyed a check-in with my client from 1.5 years ago and did a quick touch-up/perfecting session (not shown) for him. He was already really happy with his result. We both feel the most natural looking SMP is perfectly imperfect…which this is. The hairline is a little asymmetrical, slightly faded and I LOVE IT 🥰

I’m truly fortunate to be 5 years strong in being an SMP artist full time. It’s because of this, that I am lucky enough to be able to share healed work…which I feel is what most discerning clients really want to see. Discerning clients…are my jam. 😎

I think the most exciting part is…I get to grow and be better, everyday, as my clients come back and I see where I started, where I am now and how I can be even better in the years to come.

We took a slow and steady approach to this treatment, spacing the work over 3 sessions. Scar tissue can be tricky…and I’m not cavalier when it comes to the best outcome for my clients.

We ask all clients to wait 9 months following FUE transplants, before considering SMP, and a full year after an FUT hair transplant.

I might have a trophy on the shelf at my studio for some previous scar work. Come see me to find out what all the hype is about 😬
