Posted • Fundraiser Alert🚨 ! This Friday my buddy and I will be riding "The Big Loop" in Victoria on our gravel bikes to fundraise money for the Monks of Chiwong Monastery.

These guys took me in while I was stranded in the Himalayas in the spring of 2020 when the World went into Lockdown. Back then $3828 CAD was raised via an Everesting ride to help build a dry house as they currently had no where to dry their clothes. That Dry House is now under construction, and they need a bit more help to finish it off before Monsoon hits this June. The goal is another $3000 CAD, this will finish off the dry house, and will add a hot shower and washer machine to the project 🧱 .

Lets help these guys out as it's important to have a place to dry your clothes when you live off a cliff side at 2950 meters in the Himalayas 🏔 ...

Nowadays we are in a collective freeze mode & it is important to practice self-compassion as well as appreciating that we are not only feeling this in our internal landscape, but this is in fact a global feeling+phenomenon 😥
During times like this, prioritize how you utilize your limited energy & resources. Also understand that we are entering a seasonal change where we are departing from the balmy, bright, but strange days of a pandemic summer & transitioning into the cooler, damper, gradually darkening days of a pandemic autumn 🌧🌅🍂
Dress warmly, feed yourselves & loved ones nourishing foods & get enough sleep to protect your immunity. And yes, if you are struggling, that acupuncture is a gentle way to keep your heart open, regulate your nervous system & move that stagnant, worried qi of yours 💗💗💗
