To all the Mothers in the world.

Those who have birthed a child, adopted a child, fostered a child, rescued a child, conceived a child, raised a child, buried a child, taught a child, loved a child, nannied a child, rocked a child, or cared for a child....

Thank you for your love. The world is a better place with a mom like you.

We celebrate each one of you and our own dear Mother's on this day.

We are especially missing Lillian's sweet mom who went home to heaven this last year. We honour her memory and the love she gave to her family.

Here are a few words of advice that our 3 mom's had to share with us this Mother's day. Thought we'd pass the wisdom along to you.

Join me today and let’s talk about SELF LOVE..

Let’s just say...I’ve kinda cringed at the idea of Self Love cause I thought it was super selfish and had a spirit of entitlement attached to it. Look at me at the spa! Look at me getting a Pedi! Yada yada yada-look at me taking care of me!

I thought being the GIVER was a little more "righteous and holy" and all that jazz. Talk about judgemental. Yep. Note taken.

Anyways,
I’ve been on a journey of learning THIS lesson the hard way. Crashing and burning and struggling with my health for SOOO many years but yet STILL trying to find my value.

What I’ve figured out or am still figuring out is
THAT belief isn’t leading to Life- so it’s gotta change! That is how I filter a lot of the BELIEFS I've had.

Sometimes being the Giver all the time just doesn’t lead to good things and welllll I’ve figured out a few little secrets along the way that are changing the way I’ve lived in hopes for a better tomorrow.
