Vulcan County Health & Wellness Foundation Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation was formed to keep money from flowing out of the County to support other Health and Wellness programs.

A new Foundation in our Community

Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation was formed to keep money from flowing out of the County to support other Health and Wellness programs. It was time to create a Foundation that supports our local hospital, along with promoting health and wellness programs to serve all the villages and towns. Keeping our Community Hospital competitive and viable is one

of our top priorities. Help us Help you… Give back! The Community Health Care Centre has been in the County for years, providing expert care to all your friends and family. If you used it for your child’s illness or if it comforted your aging parent we want you to help us build on existing service. Making sure that existing services and building on Community Health and Wellness programs stay in the County for a vibrant health care facility. We will help you make sure the whole system is around for your children and grandchildren to use in the future. Every donated $ stays in the County! The Board is committed in working with Alberta Health Services to keep our current excellent Health Care Services and facilitate in building an even better Health and Wellness Community in our County. The Golden Hour of Emergency Care

The Community Health Care Centre has serviced this large land base of Vulcan County (545,000 hectares) for all emergency over the years. We need to keep our emergency department and build on it. Our population in the summer months increases greatly and in an emergency’s golden hour of need it has been there to provide exceptional service. Just imagine if we didn’t have that critical care when an emergency arises. We need to work together that we hold on to our existing services, not only for every person in the County but for those visitors enjoying our natural resources.
