We are currently looking to add to our Front Shop Team.

If you are Friendly, energetic, reliable, hardworking, then we would love to talk to you.

The position we are looking to fill is a part-time or full-time position (Monday-Saturday) customer service rep.

Cash register experience is definitely a bonus, but we are willing to train. Our customers are pretty amazing, so the love of working with people is a must!

What a fabulous Walkerton Homecoming Weekend! 🎉

It was wonderful seeing our community come together to celebrate, reconnect with old friends, and make new memories.

Week 6 — “Still Serving Walkerton”

Nearly eight decades after opening, Brown’s Pharmacy continues to serve Walkerton with the same hometown spirit it was founded on.

From Bill and Virginia Brown, Ken and Lynne Brown to Ryan Fullerton and Katrina Wei and today’s pharmacy team, the focus has always been community first.

That’s something worth celebrating!

Homecoming is all about reconnecting with the places and people that made Walkerton feel like home.

For many families, Brown’s Pharmacy has always been one of those places — a familiar face, a helping hand, and a constant presence in the community (We still give out free popcorn at special community functions after all these years!).

As Walkerton grew, Brown’s Pharmacy grew too.

Over the years, the store expanded and adapted to meet the needs of the community. From home healthcare products to modern pharmacy services and medical supply delivery programs.

Through every generation, one thing stayed the same: caring for the people of Walkerton and surrounding area.

Week 2 - “A Downtown Landmark”

For decades, the Brown’s Drugs sign was a familiar sight on Durham Street.

Whether you stopped in for a prescription, a greeting card, some candy from The Candy Corner, a gift from The Gift Corner or just to say hello, chances are you have a memory connected to downtown Walkerton.

The sign itself has changed over the years, reflecting different eras of the business and the community it served. Yet through every update, it remained a familiar landmark and a reassuring presence on Walkerton’s main street.

Some businesses don’t just serve a town, they become part of its identity. Brown’s Drug Store is one of those places, woven into the memories and stories of generations of local residents.
