Dry Brushing: A Gentle Self-Care Ritual
Dry brushing is a simple way to exfoliate your skin, temporarily increase surface circulation, and enjoy a relaxing moment of self-care.
Benefits
- Removes dead skin cells for smoother, softer skin.
- Temporarily stimulates blood flow to the skin.
- Encourages relaxation through gentle, rhythmic strokes.
Safe-Use Tips
- Use a soft-bristle brush with light pressure.
- Start with 1–3 minutes, once or twice weekly.
- Avoid broken, irritated, inflamed, or sensitive skin.
- Moisturize afterward and keep your brush clean.
Important: If you have lymphedema, lipedema, fragile skin, or are recovering from cancer treatment or surgery, consult your healthcare provider first.
Dry brushing is not a proven lymphatic drainage treatment and does not replace MLD or compression therapy.
Gentle care. Small moments. A little time for you.
