My mom loves to say "change doesn't happen until the pain of the present is greater than the pain of the unknown."

And honestly? I think there's a lot of truth in that.

It's also something I see often when practitioners are considering administrative support.

They wait until they absolutely can't do it all anymore.

But what if you didn't have to?

What if you paid attention to the signs before you reached the point of burnout, missed follow-ups, or spending your weekends catching up on admin?

If you've been thinking about hiring support more than once, that thought probably isn't coming from nowhere.

Your practice may already be telling you that what worked before isn't working anymore.

If two or more of those signs feel familiar, I'd encourage you not to wait for things to get worse.

If you'd like to talk it through, book a consult and let's look at where your practice actually stands.

Everyone talks about the excitement of opening your own practice.

Not enough people talk about the behind-the-scenes setup that makes everything run smoothly.

Before you start seeing patients, take a little time to get your systems in place. Future you (and your patients) will thank you.

A solid foundation doesn't just make opening day easier. It sets your practice up to grow with confidence.

Thinking about making the leap into private practice? Save this for later, and if you'd like support during the transition, send me a DM or visit the link in my bio.

Starting your own practice is exciting...and it can also feel like there are a million little things to remember.

The good news? You don't need to do everything at once.

Start with the essentials:
✔️ A professional inbox
✔️ Your practice management system
✔️ Lab accounts
✔️ A fax number
✔️ A communication plan that fits your patients

Getting these foundations in place now will make everything else feel much easier as your practice grows.

What would you add to this checklist?

If you're preparing to launch your own practice and want support behind the scenes, send me a DM or visit the link in my bio. I'd love to help make the transition a little smoother.

Two questions.

That’s all it takes to figure out where to start with outsourcing in your practice.

1. What tasks am I doing that don’t actually need to be done by ME?
2. What tasks in my practice are repeated? Daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

Most practitioners I work with are surprised by how much falls into these two categories once they actually write it out.

Tasks that don’t need to come from them personally.
Tasks that repeat on a schedule.
That overlap is where we start.

Outsourcing your admin doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. It just needs a clear starting point.

If you’re ready to get these tasks off your plate, have your processes documented, and build a practice that runs without you having to be in every corner of it, send me a DM.

Or join my email list, The Supported Practitioner, for more on how to make this happen.

Most practitioners assume they’re tired because they’re doing too much.

It’s almost never the volume. It’s that nothing is contained. Work that has nowhere to live ends up living in your head.
