Mental Health Awareness Month begins today — a reminder to check in with ourselves, not just emotionally, but in the way we work and live each day.
How are your boundaries lately?

Are you saying yes to everything?
Are you giving yourself space to pause between meetings?
When was the last time you stepped away from your desk for a real lunch break?
Do you have time off planned — or are you running on empty?

Mental health at work isn’t only about managing stress when it peaks.
It’s built in the small, everyday choices:
taking breaks, setting boundaries and asking for support.

Wishing you a month of mindful moments, stronger boundaries through May and beyond.🩵

The "hustle culture" narrative is shifting.

On May 25th, we are hosting a panel at the SDG Idea Factory in Kitchener to have an honest conversation about the intersection of mental health, scale, and resilience. This isn't a surface-level "wellness" talk; it’s a deep dive into leading at scale without losing clarity.

We are looking for 2 founders from the Waterloo region to join the conversation.

We want speakers who can speak candidly on:

· Practices that helped transition from survival mode to intentional leadership.

· Replacing "hustle at all costs" with sustainable resilience.

· The reality of isolation and stress while building a legacy.

Event Details:

When: May 25, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Where: SDG Idea Factory, Kitchener

Format: 50-minute moderated panel + Q&A

Who is a founder that needs to be heard on this topic? DM your recommendations.

Surrogacy creates families, but it also brings unique emotional challenges for surrogates, intended parents, and the child.

Ontario’s laws are clear on parental rights, yet mental health supports—like counseling, psychological screening, and postnatal care—are still missing from the framework.

In Geenishka’s latest blog at she dives into:

💡 Why informed consent goes beyond paperwork
💡 The importance of mental health screening
💡 How Ontario can protect everyone involved in surrogacy

Surrogacy isn’t just a medical procedure—it’s an emotional journey.

Let’s make sure mental health is part of the conversation.

When life takes an unexpected turn, it can feel like all your progress disappears. But setbacks aren't the end of your story — they're often where the deeper work begins.
In this blog by Ritika at bookmytherapy she explores:
🔹 How to quiet self-criticism and lean into self-compassion
🔹 Tools to rebuild trust in yourself, one small step at a time
🔹 The strength you’ve already shown (even if you’ve forgotten)

Trusting yourself is easier that it appears. You just need to begin — with one kind thought, one honest reflection, one small promise.
