Shubham has proven himself to be a competent and dedicated team player regardless of which location he is working. Shubham began his career with us at our Niagara Falls location and has recently transitioned into our Dominion Pharmacy retirement home pharmacy branch. He has dedicated significant time into getting this pharmacy off the ground often staying late and starting early to do what he can to get the work done. His work under pressure has been instrumental in growing the pharmacy so rapidly to where it is today. Thanks for being such a versatile, hard working team player Shub!



Alexa is a Jill of many trades at our Ridgeway location. She displays incredible team work by being able and willing to help in whatever department needs help when they need it. Most of her time is spent working in our home health care, mobility equipment and wound care department. She consistently goes above and beyond for customers to ensure they are getting the care they need even when they are unable to get into any of their other healthcare providers. Several customers were thankful for her help with wound care when they were unable to get into the hospital or doctors office. Thank you for being such a great team player that goes above and beyond for our patients!

Michelle received several nominations for her polite, friendly and pleasant service. One customer was impressed that she stayed late through her lunch break to make sure she got her photos completed on time. Another first time customer was impressed with her service to the point that she will be sure to return again! Thank you for being so attentive and friendly and for going above and beyond to meet customers needs!

Carey (and the team in Fort Erie) consistently receive strong nominations for going above and beyond for their patients. She truly knows patients like family and treats them that way! Thank you, and the team, for treating all of our patients in Fort Erie like family!

💉Flu/ Covid Vaccine Waitlists Now Open💉

Invites for clinic day appointments will be sent based on patient risk and the order in which you were added to our waitlist. Please have patience as we navigate limited supply and high demand for shots in the first few weeks. Adding your name to our ONLINE waitlist early will guarantee as early of an appointment as possible. We cannot guarantee a vaccine by any particular date but we do our best to accommodate when possible. Walk in appointments cannot always be accommodated initially due to limited supply and existing appointments.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we prepare to roll out the 2026/2027 flu/ Covid vaccine program.

🎉Congratulations to this months VIPs! 🎉

Krystle can be found in our home health care and mobility department at our Port Colborne location. Krystle truly lives and breaths our values on a daily basis. She is a true team player that gives back to the community and she consistently goes above and beyond for her customers. Recently, Krystle donated her time and plasma at Canadian Blood Services to help those in need in our communities. Despite hating the idea of giving blood and feeling horrible afterwards she still stepped up to the plate to help those in urgent need. Great work Krystle!



Andria is a Registered Pharmacy Technician at our Ridgeway location. Andria received several customer nominations for consistently going above and beyond to put our customers first. Based on these nominations it was clear that she leaves a strong positive impression on our customers daily. She consistently acts proactively to ensure our patients receive the best service and prices, sometimes without the patient even realizing what she had done for them. Keep up the great work Andria!

Lauren works in our Port Colborne head office managing our payroll and other employee relations. New to the role she has consistently proven herself to be a solid team player by consistently handling payroll issues quickly and respectfully. We have received several comments from employees describing how wonderful it has been dealing with her in resolving any issues that might arise on a day to day basis. Her approachability and attentiveness to issues has helped foster strong relationships between our teams on the ground and head office. Thank you for taking such great care of our pharmacy teams across our network!

Krishna is a pharmacy assistant at our Niagara Falls location. Krishna has really stepped up to the plate over the last year proving herself to be a versatile team player that treats all of our patients like family from the minute they walk in. Since apparently naming bodies of water is all the rage these days, we tried our hand at it.

Then we realized we’ve got a lot more important stuff to deal with, like taking great care of our patients. I think we’ll keep our focus on doing what’s best for them and leave the naming of lakes to those that discovered them hundreds of years ago.

Sweet treats for a great cause! 🍦💙

Today our team enjoyed some Dairy Queen Blizzard treats for Miracle Treat Day. Proceeds from every Blizzard go to support local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network.

Looking after our community’s health is what the Boggio Family of Pharmacies is all about, and that includes kids across our region. Thanks to everyone who helped turn a little ice cream into a lot of good! 💙

🎉 Congratulations to this months VIPs! 🎉

Lana can be found working away behind closed doors in Port Colborne at our blister packaging Central Fill facility. This past month has been a difficult one for our Central Fill team with the blister packaging robot breaking down for many days putting the team very behind. Thankfully, Lana and the central fill team stepped up when the machine couldn’t to ensure that they could keep producing the blister packs that our patients would be needing at many of our locations. Thanks to the long and unusual hours Lana put in none of our patients at our pharmacies went without their blister pack medications. Thank you for your dedication to getting the job done Lana!



Brittany is a Registered Pharmacy Technician at our Ridgeway location. Brittany is a true team player helping out wherever needed in the dispensary. She has been instrumental in managing the compounding lab in Ridgeway and recently helped ensure that the dispensary operations met Ontario College of Pharmacist approval during their routine assessment. Let’s not forget, recently she was personally thanked in an excellent online review of the pharmacy! Keep up the great work!

Alyson is a new face on our front shop team in Virgil. You can expect to see this smiling face greeting you when you step into Simpsons Pharmasave. Alyson loves coming into work and getting to know our customers. Recently we had a delivery driver retire and Alyson volunteered not only to step in and cover shifts but she also helped train a new driver that would take on the role full time. Thank you for your great attitude and team spirit Alyson!

Tracey works in our home health care department submitting customer billings to the Assistive Devices Program. Although our customers may not see her face to face she makes sure her coworkers do as part of our social committee and by checking in with the team regularly to make sure things are not only good at work but at home as well. Tracey has been instrumental in digitizing many of our once manual tasks in the home health care department to improve our efficiency and customer experience.

🎉 Congratulations to this months VIPs! 🎉

Victoria is a delivery driver at our Port Colborne location. Victoria consistently has a smile on her face and a can do attitude. She is always willing to fill in for driving shifts where and when needed and she supports the training of new drivers to bring them up to speed on the role. Recently, Victoria encountered a patient dealing with a mental health crisis at their home when delivering their medication. She acted immediately in a calm and supportive manner to assist the individual while also making sure to notify the pharmacist on duty to follow up directly. Her willingness to help in a time of need for this patient does not go unnoticed!

Rebecca is a pharmacy assistant at our Virgil/ NOTL locations and training lead for the Boggio Family of Pharmacies. Rebecca has proven herself to be a competent and versatile team member helping with the transition of ownership of Simpsons Pharmasave and Simpsons Apothecary into the Boggio Family of Pharmacies. There isn’t much in the dispensary Rebecca cannot do! She treats customers like family and treats the business as her own, often taking questions and comments from patients when she is out and about in the small community of Virgil and bringing them back to work on at the pharmacy. She is always willing to help out however and whenever possible to ensure our patients get the medications they need when they need them!

Luella can be found in our head office HR department. Luella joined the team recently in a particularly tumultuous time as we worked through a Human Resources policy and procedure overhaul to better manage our growing team. Luella has proven herself to be competent and calm during this stressful time always making sure to keep a positive attitude and ensure the team feels supported. Her ability to multitask, work under pressure and manage tight timelines during these changes has been integral in successfully completing our plans so far.

Recently our home health care service and installation team completed the installation of this custom stair lift at a customers home. At Boggio Family of Pharmacies we have the specialty equipment and service tech staffing to assess, order and install a complex stairlift like this. Thanks to our home health care and independent living aid team this client will be able to continue making memories in the home they love for many years to come!

Twenty-five years ago, Lisa started as a cashier at our Niagara Falls location. Today she’s our Front Shop Retail Manager, leading the purchasing, merchandising and front shop team across all ten Boggio Family of Pharmacies locations.

As the business has grown, so has she. Our front shops are better for it every single day!
