Your body has been keeping the score for your entire life, even before you realized it.

Every single thing that happened, that you didn't process is in there somewhere.

That's why everything seems so heavy now, even the basics like cooking dinner. Again.

Today's load - mental and physical - might be heavy in itself, but it feels way heavier because you haven't been able to set yesterday down. Or ten years ago...

This shows up in different ways for different people - some develop pain, some headaches, anxiety or loss of sleep. Some even develop into serious diagnosis.

Your body communicates with you all the time, but because the language it speaks is sensation it can be hard to interpret.

Headaches, anxiety, fatigue, pain.

All trying to tell you something. Asking for something.

How long have you been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Are you ready to set it down?

Spinal Flow uses gentle touch to speak to the body in its own language - sensation - to tell it that it is safe, it no longer needs to carry all of that.

The headaches that come and go.

This client. Her name is Trish - she gave permission to share. I met her for the first time in November of 2025. She sees me about every 2 weeks. As you see from her message, she has MS. She has other diagnoses as well, and much trauma in her life. She was using a wheelchair part time when her body didn't have the strength and coordination. Was not able to work at her job, which she loves and is passionate about, anywhere close to as much as she wanted to. Couldn't walk her dogs.

She hasn't used her wheelchair since her first session. Works a lot more and is able to walk her dogs sometimes. Her physio therapist noticed a huge difference quickly. We both observed her improvement, but this text blew me away. Feedback like this, is part of why I do what I do.

​Our nervous systems don't just need "sleep"—they need different types of rest to truly recover from a busy week. Here are a few simple ways to help your body shift into a recovery state over the next 48 hours:

• ​Rest (The Sleep Reset): Prioritize an extra hour of sleep or a 20-minute afternoon nap to allow your brain to process the week’s "data".

• ​Calm (The Quiet Reset): Spend 10 minutes in total silence—no phone, no podcasts—to lower your sensory input.

• ​Connection (The Relationship Reset): Have a meaningful conversation with a friend or family member; safe social connection is a powerful signal of "safety" to your nervous system.

• ​Activity (The Movement Reset): Take a gentle 15-minute walk. Rhythmic movement helps "un-stick" physical tension patterns.

• ​Preparation (The Peace-of-Mind Reset): Spend 5 minutes Sunday evening jotting down your top 3 priorities for Monday so your brain can truly "switch off" for the night.
