I’ve been asked a few times lately whether I offer services beyond herbalism, so I wanted to share a little more about the Ayurvedic-inspired bodywork and herbal care available at Circé + Medée.

Ayurveda has been part of my personal and professional practice for 27 years now. It has shaped the way I understand warmth, rhythm, digestion, rest, nervous system care, seasonal living, and the importance of tending the whole person.

At the centre, I currently offer a small collection of restorative services rooted in warm oil, grounding touch, herbal care, and body awareness.

A note about marma points: in Ayurveda, marma points are traditional vital points of the body. They may feel familiar to people who know acupressure or reflexology because they also involve attentive work with specific points on the body, including the hands and feet. My work may include gentle marma point and acupressure-style touch, but I am not a reflexologist and do not offer reflexology.

These services are slow, intentional, and client-centred. They are not rushed treatments. They are for people who want to feel held, grounded, warmed, and supported in their body.

I know there are people in our area who are already familiar with Ayurveda, and I also know many people are simply looking for care that feels thoughtful, warm, and deeply restorative.

So this is me saying yes, this part of my work is available.

Cassandra Francis is offering a limited number of Energy Work sessions next week at Circé + Medée Community Wellness Centre.

Cassandra’s work is gentle, intuitive, grounded, and deeply supportive. Her sessions are created for people who are carrying a lot, moving through personal patterns, seeking clarity, craving quiet, or wanting a meaningful space to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.

AuraKind Energy Work

AuraKind is a Reiki-centred energy session with sound, vibration, crystals, breath awareness, grounding touch, and intuitive support. This fully clothed session may include Reiki, sound bowls, tuning forks, humming, crystals, and consent-based grounding touch. Each session is adapted to your comfort, sensitivity, and needs.

Duration: 60 minutes
Investment: $95

AngelKind Ancestral Work

AngelKind is a gentle session for clients who want to explore angelic support, ancestral themes, personal patterns, and meaningful messages through cards, conversation, and intuitive reflection.

More than a card spread, this is a grounded space for insight, remembrance, protection, and connection.

Duration: 60 minutes
Investment: $75

Cassandra does not open a large number of appointments, so each booking is held with care, presence, and intention.

She has limited availability next week, with one appointment available per day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Available start times are in the early afternoon and may include 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, or 3:30, depending on the day.

Join us on Friday, June 19, from 2 to 3 pm at the Musée et Archives de Pubnico for a free presentation on the native herbs of Nova Scotia.

This talk will focus on ancestral, bioregional plants of this land: the herbs, trees, shrubs, and medicines that were part of Mi’kmaq knowledge systems long before European settlement, and the plant knowledge that later helped shape early Acadian life in Nova Scotia.

Rather than focusing on European garden herbs or introduced plants, we’ll be looking closely at the native medicinal plants of this region and the deep relationship between people, place, and plant medicine.

This is a free community presentation, open to anyone interested in local plants, traditional knowledge, herbal medicine, Acadian history, and the living ecology of Nova Scotia.

But fear not!!!

Our website is in the process of being transferred over as we change hosting companies, and we are very glad to be making this move.

We are now working with Jade Malone from Redhead Jade - ScandalousMedia.ca and the new Circé + Medée website is absolutely stunning. We cannot wait to reveal it in a couple of weeks.

For now, though, there is some behind the scenes work happening as the domain is transferred from one host to another. That means our website will not be accessible for the next couple of weeks.

It is all for a very good reason, and we promise it will be worth the wait.
