Abbey… it still doesn’t make sense how you could fit inside a box. Because you never could… and you never WILL! You were always too bright and beautiful for that… both while you were “alive” and ESPECIALLY now. Your Spirit lives on in the lives of every heart that you have ever touched! You always shone bright beyond the borders and boundaries of what was expected! ✨ We were/are so grateful to have had you here on our Healing Hearts Inc team 💖. Life is a rollercoaster ride that is wonderful and beautiful and brutal and never seems to end until it does. And then it feels like the exhilarating and exhausting ride was too short, though while you were on it felt like it was too long… [As a human and caregiver, 46 years in, that is my interpretation of life so far! 😉] That being said, I know that there is so much more wisdom to be learned from both our children AND our elders. Both draw us back to being in this present moment! While we, as caregivers at Healing Hearts Inc., strive to serve our community it is truly questionable who receives the greater benefit… us as caregivers, or those who we care for! 💝.

This was me at 8 years old. While I no longer desire to be a nun or a zoologist, I still have a heart full of dreams and a desire to change the world… one moment at a time and one interaction at a time. If our team can serve you in any way, please let us know how!

Post operative support is something we are passionate about at Healing Hearts Inc. Sometimes this means having a knowledgeable person around for a day or two for general assistance, reassurance and/or peace of mind after discharge from the hospital. Sometimes it means help with personal care, errands and/or light housekeeping. Often we are called upon to provide support with post op physiotherapy in the home, ensuring maximum benefit after a hip or knee surgery. Whatever your post op needs are, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! 🩷💜

We have the best of the best team members/caregivers at Healing Hearts Inc! Abbey shared so much Light during her short time on this Earth. Sadly for us and our community, Heaven called her Home on April 12th. Our team and our clients were blessed to have her with us for as long as we did! 💜🩷🙏
