Lip blushing goes through the most DRASTIC healing phases over any other permanent makeup. Immediately after your appointment, your lips are BOLD, in both colour and swelling. Healed results are soft, subtle, & natural - closer to a lip stain or tint rather than an opaque bold lipstick. Enough to bring your lips back to life and improve definition, but not so much that you feel like you have to wear a full face of makeup to balance it out. Pop on a clear gloss and go! …if you want.

✨Because lip tissue is thin, whatever colour we choose has to mesh well with your natural undertones. We’re aiming for a natural enhancement that compliments your undertones and natural features. There are certain lip pigment shades that just will not suit you and I won’t tattoo them on you.

Let’s unpack this, shall we 🤣👇
My work has evolved in a BIG way. Not to say my beginner work was bad, because honestly I’m so proud of what I created back then considering I was brand new. But the quality I produce now is totally different. My techniques have changed, my style has changed, I have so much more education & experience, and what I do today is just a whole other level.

So when you hand me an inspo pic from my EARLY days, I’m incredibly flattered, but I’m also almost as triggered as reading my 2007 Facebook status updates; a little nostalgic, proud of my roots, and I have a ton of questions 👀 …but I’d rather leave it where it came from and never see it again. 🙈

Truthfully, If you like that version of my work, I’m a little concerned about whether I’m going to absolutely blow your expectations out of the water, or if my beginner level work is actually your goal. 😅

Either way, you’re getting the today’s version of my artistry 💁‍♀️because even since day one, every service I provide, I go in with the goal of it being my best work yet. 💪

“Should I do a wing?”
Honestly… yes. But the right wing.

A huge, dramatic wing might look fun now, but it can turn gawdy fast. And in a few years when gravity starts doing its thing, that wing goes down with it. 🫣
On the flip side, no wing at all can make your eyes look smaller, and a wing on very hooded lids can create a droopy effect. If your inspo photo is from someone with completely different eyes, that is an automatic no from me.

The good news is that the perfect amount of wing absolutely exists. It contours your natural shape, opens your eyes, and gives a soft, lifted finish.

And do not forget that permanent makeup is meant to enhance your natural features, not take over your whole face. Subtle, flattering work always ages more gracefully. You can add extra makeup for a night out, but PMU should start from a natural, balanced look that suits you.
