Owning a massage business sounds cute until your biggest challenge becomes your own mind 😭

One minute you’re excited because clients are booking, your content is doing well, and things finally feel like they’re working…

Next minute you’re overthinking your prices, questioning your content, trying to keep up with DMs, clients, cancellations, marketing, and still trying to be present in real life.

A lot of people think being a successful therapist is just about being good at massage.
It’s not.

Especially in lymphatic and post op care, talent will only take you so far if nobody knows you exist.

You have to learn how to market yourself, build trust online, create a brand, set boundaries, and keep showing up consistently even when you don’t feel confident.

And honestly, becoming the version of yourself capable of handling all of that is harder than building the business itself.

One of the biggest misconceptions in post-op care is thinking that more pain = better results.

It doesn’t.

Lymphatic drainage is meant to support healing, reduce inflammation, and help move excess fluid gently through the body.

Bruising is not a sign that the massage is “working harder”

In many cases, it’s a sign that the body is being handled too aggressively during a very sensitive stage of recovery.

A lot of clients don’t realize this because they’ve been taught to associate pain with effectiveness.

But a knowledgeable therapist understands that post-op bodies require intention, technique, and the right amount of pressure, not force.

Please do your research before booking post-op care. Your healing process deserves to be protected, not rushed 🤍

Tag someone who needs to hear this before their next appointment.

One of the hardest parts about becoming a massage therapist is realizing that being good at massage is only half the battle.

Massage school teaches technique.
But nobody really teaches you how to build a business.

Nobody talks enough about how hard it is to find clients in the beginning, price your services confidently, market yourself online, retain clients, or position yourself as a premium provider instead of competing on price.

And honestly? That’s why so many talented therapists burn out early.

Not because they lack skill.
Because they lack guidance.

I remember feeling like I had all this training, but no real roadmap on how to actually make this career sustainable. That’s exactly why I created Hands-On Fully Booked.

The goal wasn’t just to teach massage therapists how to “make content” or “get more clients.”
It was to help them build a business that actually lasts.

If you’re a therapist who knows you’re talented but feels stuck on the business side… this is for you 🤍

To be honest… what you see online is not the full story.

“Post more. Show more. Be consistent.”

Cool. But behind the scenes? It’s me filming, deleting, overthinking, and convincing myself to just post it anyway 😭

This reel is meant to be funny, but it’s also very real:
“This is gonna do numbers”
“Why did I post that”
“Just keep posting”
“Never posting again”

And somehow… we still keep showing up.

Because building a business online isn’t about feeling ready, it’s about staying in the game long enough to grow into it.

So if you’re a massage therapist or service provider trying to build your brand… don’t wait for perfect.

Post the process. Even when it’s messy. Especially when it’s messy 🤍

One thing I had to learn as a business owner: policies are not “being mean"
they’re protecting the business you’re trying to build.

If you’re a massage therapist trying to grow, you cannot run your business off guilt, fear of upsetting people, or constantly overextending yourself.

A 24-hour cancellation policy exists because your time has value.
Your energy has value.
Your expertise has value.

Imagine blocking off your schedule, preparing for a client, showing up professionally… and then not getting paid for that time.

The therapists who grow sustainable businesses learn boundaries early. Stop shrinking your policies just to make people comfortable.

You can be kind, professional, AND still protect your business 🤍

If I’m hard to reach, it’s because I had to learn how to protect my time.

When you’re building a real business, balancing clients, trainings, content, and a personal life… you realize everybody cannot have unlimited access to you.

My clients know they have access because they invested in the experience. But outside of that, I move with structure, boundaries, and intention.

To every therapist building their brand:
stop apologizing for protecting your peace, your energy, and your schedule.
That’s not being difficult, that’s called growth 🤍

“My nervous system thinking a lion is chasing me when in reality I just enforced my cancellation policy” 😭

No because why does setting one professional boundary feel so terrifying at first?

I used to feel SO guilty anytime I enforced my policies. Late cancellations, last-minute reschedules, no-shows… I would panic before replying because I didn’t want people to be upset with me.

But here’s what I learned: having boundaries does not make you rude, mean, or money hungry. It makes you a professional.

Your policies protect your time, energy, income, and the business you’re trying to build. The clients who respect you will understand that.

And honestly? The more I started respecting my own business, the more other people respected it too.

If you’re a massage therapist trying to grow your business, build confidence, attract better clients, and stop undercharging/overexplaining yourself all the time… I created a community for you 🤍

If you’ve been complaining about back pain for weeks… this is your sign to finally book that massage 👀

Your body is not supposed to feel tense, stiff, and uncomfortable all the time. A lot of people carry stress in their back without even realizing it, from long work days, bad posture, stress, workouts, motherhood, life… all of it adds up.

Massage therapy can help relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, reduce stress, and help your body feel like itself again ✨

Stop saying “I need to book a massage” and actually do it this time 😭

You thought you booked a 60-minute massage… but really your body was begging for a nervous system reset ✨

Most people don’t realize how much stress their body is holding onto until they finally slow down. Tight shoulders, headaches, poor sleep, anxiety, feeling constantly overstimulated… your nervous system feels all of that.

A good massage isn’t just about relaxation. It helps your body come out of “survival mode” and into a state where it can actually rest, recover, and heal.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do for yourself is pause and let your body breathe for a second 🤍

Comment “massage” if you’ve been needing one lately and want to book your massage.

Winning in life cause AI can’t do Brazilian lymphatic drainage...

And honestly? Niching down changed EVERYTHING for me.

The second I stopped trying to be “a massage therapist” and became KNOWN for Brazilian lymphatic drainage + post-op care… my income changed, my clientele changed, and the respect changed too.

People fly in for this work.
Doctors refer clients to me.
Clients trust me with their healing after surgery.
And yes… the money got REAL different 👀

Cause specialized skills will always eat.

Everybody doing “full body massages.”
Not everybody knows how to properly move fluid, reduce fibrosis, help clients recover after surgery, and give results people can literally SEE after one session.

That’s why I created this workshop.

I’m teaching y’all the real techniques, the real science, the real hands-on knowledge behind Brazilian lymphatic drainage + post-op care so you can stop undercharging and start becoming the go-to specialist in your city.

If you’ve been wanting to level up your massage career, this is your sign.

Comment “drain” and I’ll send you the details 🤍

Respectfully… nobody booking a logo 😭

Y’all be hiding behind Canva graphics, beige quotes, and pictures of eucalyptus leaves meanwhile people are trying to see WHO you are.

The therapists growing the fastest are not always the ones with the most aesthetic feed. It’s the ones showing their face, talking on stories, sharing their opinions, being relatable, being REAL.

People trust people.

Like if I’m about to let you crack my back, fix my pain, or touch me for 60 minutes… I wanna know what your vibe is first 😂

You do not need to look perfect online. You just need to show up.

Your personality is literally your marketing strategy.
Your face is your brand.
Your voice is your brand.

Get on camera. Talk to us. Be a human.

Comment “face” if you’re done being mysterious on the internet 😭👇
