Hi Everyone. Just wanted to let you know that we will no longer be responding to inquiries on Facebook or Instagram. It's too wonky and unreliable. Although we will continue to post news and other items of interest there. If you wish to contact us please do so using email posted on our webpage.

A client made this awesome video after coming on one of our August Britt Weekends. She even wrote the song that accompanies it, and we had to share a little bit of the magic with all of you!

Here are some great eats and sweets from some of our recent adventures into the great outdoors! A little preview of some of the options that you could be enjoying when you come out with us. Pictured here are roast potatoes, asparagus with parmesan, with rainbow trout.
Some thumbprint almond cookies,
pistachio quinoa bars
and crunchy peanut butter chocolate balls.
We build our menus based around who is coming on each trip so if you have any allergies or dietary needs that make any of these not feasible for you, worry not!

We're busy on trips! But don't worry, last week we had staff go out to all our most frequent sites and we built new thunderboxes! (It's an old one Rick is pictured on here) So when you trip with Horizons not only are you camping, paddling, and eating in style, but you can go to the bathroom in style too!

This 5 day trip is always a customer favourite, and sells out quick - so we've added another date to the roster! This 5 day trip explores the outer islands and bays of Phillip Edward Island in this spectacular part of Georgian Bay. Come and see for yourself. It is an experience that you won't soon forget!
For information on what to bring, or any such thing, send us a message! Hope to see you there.

Clouds make up a big part of the day on the water. Combined with wind direction, they are the messengers for approaching weather. We all know the rhyme about "red sky at night" but "I've looked at clouds from both sides now, from up and down and still somehow, it's cloud's illusions I recall". It's time to know your clouds, and what they tell you.

Do you have a favourite type of cloud?

This array of photos from different trips show a bit of the variety of what you may see on the water:
1. Stratocumulus
2. Cumulus
3.Thickening Stratocumulus
4. Sunset stratus
5. Wispy Cumulus and Low cumulus
6. Fair weather cumulus
7. Classic approaching warm front Stratus

10. Altocumulus
