Here is what the research found:

Positive emotional experiences during Reiki, associated with improved wellbeing and reduced anxiety.

Physical or bodily sensations during Reiki were associated with greater pain relief.

Emotional release was associated with improved wellbeing through reductions in anxiety.

Reductions in pain and anxiety appeared to play an important role in participants.

We are delighted to share more Reiki research with you.

This newly published 2026 study looked at 1,284 Reiki sessions across the United States and explored not only how people reported feeling before and after Reiki, but also what they actually experienced during their Reiki sessions.

Here’s some of what the researchers found:

Positive emotional experiences during Reiki were associated with improved wellbeing and reduced anxiety.

Physical or bodily sensations during Reiki were associated with greater pain relief.

Emotional release was associated with improved wellbeing through reductions in anxiety.

Reductions in pain and anxiety also appeared to play an important role in the improvements people reported in their overall wellbeing.

What we found particularly interesting about this study is that it looks at the experience of receiving Reiki itself and how those experiences may relate to changes in physical and emotional symptoms.

Of course, this is one study and Reiki research needs to be considered as part of the wider evidence base. But it is another interesting contribution to the growing research exploring Reiki, and one we wanted to share with you.

Merging With The Archangels

With the help of Diana Cooper, I have made my connection to 6 (recently added Christiel so I am at 7) much stronger.
Merging with an archangel is much more than connecting with one. When you merge you carry the energy and qualities in your aura and the cells of your body and you become an ambassador for those archangels. You can opt to be a leader within the golden stream of lightworkers.
