🎒📚 Happy First Day Back to School! 📚🎒

A new school year means new beginnings, new opportunities, and maybe a few nerves along the way!
To all the students heading back today, we wish you a year filled with learning, growth, new friendships, and plenty of reasons to be proud of yourself. 💙

And remember — it’s okay to ask for help. Asking questions, speaking up when something isn’t working, and asking for extra support are all important parts of learning. You don't have to figure everything out on your own.
For students with learning disabilities, the right support can make a meaningful difference. Every child learns differently, and every child deserves the tools and encouragement they need to succeed.

Education opens doors, builds confidence, and helps create opportunities for the future. So take it one day at a time, celebrate the little wins, and remember that progress doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.

🍎 From all of us at LDAWE, we wish students, parents, caregivers, teachers, and school staff a happy and successful school year!

You've got this! 💙

1:1 Tutoring
Our in-person tutoring program is designed for families seeking individualized academic support for their children. This program pairs students with an OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) who works 1:1 with them to solidify concepts taught in the classroom. In addition to academic instruction, this program also supports students who struggle with executive functioning skills. Tutors integrate coaching strategies to help students build organization, time-management, planning, and study skills.

Elementary students can receive support in all subjects, while English and Math tutoring are available for high school students.
