Love this!! So true ❤️

What if you stopped worrying about external validation and focused entirely on inner strength?

This simple page breaks down the ultimate formula for becoming truly unstoppable in life.

Start by working on the things nobody can ever take away from you:

Your body, your skills, your mindset, your character, your knowledge, and your work ethic.

Money, titles, and approval can come and go in the blink of an eye.

But when you invest in your health, sharpen your abilities, and build an unshakeable character, you create foundation that stands solid no matter what changes around you.

Focus on building what belongs to you from the inside out.

That's how you build real confidence and become completely unstoppable!

Most people have had trauma of some kind in their life. For many, it affects their relationships today. Most people need professional support to work through it. It's not something we can do ourselves. The great news is....the cycle of dysfunction and trauma can be broken with you. What an incredible gift and legacy that would be for you and your family ❤️

Some wounds are passed down without ever being spoken about.

Patterns of fear, silence, anger, people-pleasing, emotional distance, or shame can be learned long before we understand where they came from.

But what was passed down to you does not have to be passed on through you.

Healing begins when you become aware of the patterns, understand where they came from, and choose a different response.

You can learn to communicate instead of shutting down.
You can set boundaries instead of repeating old patterns.
You can choose compassion instead of shame.
You can create safety where there was once fear.

You may not be able to change what happened before you, but you can change what happens through you.

The cycle can end with you.

And every step toward healing creates a different path for those who come after you.

Palliative care is to increase your quality of life by controlling symptoms. It's NOT just for end-of-life. You can receive treatments like chemo, radiation or dialysis while working with palliative care. It focuses on you as a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being. Very different from traditional medicine. Ask your doctor if this sounds like the kind of care you're looking for

70% to 85% of Canadians never access a specialized palliative care team.

Palliative care is designed to improve quality of life but access remains limited across the country.

Why?:

• There are not enough palliative care specialists, nurses, physicians, social workers, and staff to meet this demand. Those who exist follow a medical model of care that doesn’t follow the beliefs of most Canadians.

• Rural and remote communities have little to no access to palliative care.

• Many healthcare providers refer patients too late, often in the final days or weeks of life.

• Individuals with dementia, heart disease, kidney disease, COPD, neurological disorders, and other chronic illnesses are less likely to receive palliative care than those with cancer.

Due to this we have unnecessary pain, unmanaged symptoms, caregiver burnout, emotional distress, repeated hospital visits, and a lack of support.

Families find themselves the primary care team, coordinating appointments, managing meds, advocating, providing hands on care, and emotional needs, with no guidance or respite.

This gap in care is one of the reasons more Canadians are seeking private end of life support. Families are looking for someone who can provide what our system massively lacks.

The issue is not that palliative care does not work. The issue is the ability to access it, to ensure those accessing it are not left without care due to staffing shortages, to ensure 1:1 care is happening. The demand for palliative care continues to outpace the available resources. People want to control the care they receive.

Our culture has done such a disfavour to our men. May we break the cycle now. Men/boys have feelings just like women do. They need to be free to express them (before they compound into anger/violence). Most women would so welcome a husband who we can be more emotionally connected to.
Let's be the change ❤️

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.

We often hear that men should be strong, push through, stay quiet, and carry the weight on their own. But REAL strength isn’t in silence. Strength comes from honest conversations, from asking for help, in saying, “I’m not doing okay” and letting someone stand beside you.

The reality is that men are far less likely to reach out for support, yet they face some of the highest mental health risks. Behind many smiles, busy schedules, and “I’m fine” responses are struggles that nobody sees.

This month, check in on the men in your life.

Fathers, sons, brothers, partners, friends, uncles, co workers.

And if you’re the one struggling, this is your reminder that you don’t have to carry it alone.

One conversation can make a difference.
